I bought it recently suggested by my friend. Never had taken protein powder before. I like the taste not too strong. Before workout or after i like to drink protein beverages. I use it 3 or 4 times a week. Happy with my purchase. Maybe i'll try different flavour next time.

Alive improved Sleep and Sight

After taking Alive there was a slight improvement in my sleep. Also there was a definite improvement in eyesight as I no longer need to wear glasses for distant vision. This improvement in sight happened about a month after taking Alive.

Good content but poor taste

Good value!

I have been using nutritional supplement products for forty five years and this one rates right up there for me. I’m 64 years young and don’t look, feel, or ‘act’ my age because of these products! I am on no medication whatsoever! Using these products is cheaper than medication, It truly is a good value.

It's green and delicious

I know some people have complained about the taste and the fact that it turns green when added to your favorite juice, almond milk or coconut milk but I found it to be delicious despite the green color. I've been drinking protein powder drinks for several years and have forced myself to get used to the chalky flavor and consistency but this had none of that. Instead of adding it to only 8 oz. of liquid, I use 12-16 oz and maybe this helps. I add some blueberry kefir for the probiotics and flavor, a little mixed berry yogurt, some coconut milk or almond milk and either some o.j. or peach flavored juice drink and YUM. It's just icing on the cake to be getting all of the vitamins and minerals Alive adds to their protein! Healthy and delicious; can't beat that combination.

Not worth the price

So first of all, it tastes nothing like vanilla. Nothing. And it has a strange aftertaste that make my tongue fell weird. I get that it's got a lot of good stuff in it, but for the price, it would be better to just buy a plain protein powder (one that actually tastes like vanilla) and taking a multi-vitamin. Don't need all the extras in a shake.

The new edition is awful!

My current review of the product after its revamp:The new edition has arrived in a new plastic jar container which holds up to 33 oz and not 34 oz like previously, for about the same price as before, this is just unjustifiable. The new taste is also different, it tastes like fake sugar rather than vanilla ice cream like previously, the powder does not actually mix with the liquid, it gets stuck in the bottom like black coffee. This stuff is quite yucky

I am suprised that I couldn't tolerate this stuff - I am no stranger to greens in smoothies and the earthy/grassy flavor of hemp, kale, spurlina, etc.. This stuff, however, resembled none of those flavors - it tasted very strong and very artificial; like the makers of this stuff made sure that every trace of some of the more "natural" flavors that I was expecting were masked by intense sweet or other artifically tasting flavors. The result was me feeling as though I was swallowing VERY sweet chemicals. I will say that I'm pretty sensitive to stevia - this isn't the first product that I've tried that was just too intensely sweet. For those who don't experience stevia-overload, maybe you'll like it. Top Notch Ingredients

You cant beat the vitamins, minerals and natural fruit supplements that's in one scoop of Alive. For all you whiners out there that can't stand the taste, try putting a scoop in a shaker with Grape/ Cranberry Juice. Shake it up good, You can't hardly taste it. I've been taking this product for over three years, hardly miss a day. It deserves 6 stars, but I can only give it 5.

good value, bad everything else

It's great nutrition for value, love that the calorie count is low but keeps me satiated for a good amount. But it tastes and smells horrible and it does end up with clumps. I've been adding an extra 2 ounces of water to dilute the smell and taste, but that just makes the clumps more visible. Doesn't matter if I shake or stir, or even try pressing them out afterwards, the clumps do not want to dissolve. I guess it helps kill my appetite, but I wouldn't buy this again.
