This tool roll is exactly what I was looking for. Nice, thick material feels like it will last a long time. Fits all of the essentials I need.

BLUF: Good for the $There are tool rolls both more and less expensive, and I'm in not claiming this will be your goldilocks -- but it seems to be that for me.Pros: above average quality, orange liner makes seeing things easier, work "apron" for small items, big enough for a better-than-minimum set of tools.Cons: could have slightly larger slots for tools, could be a bit larger.
This is a really nice tool roll at a very reasonable price. I like the bright orange interior color to make the tools stand out. The only change I would want to see is the elimination or sliming of the top flap cover. It adds a lot of bulk and limits what you can pack in if you are limited on space. I used this inside a dry spec tool tube. The upside is that the flap helps secure the tools. Another great feature is the small zipper pocket to hold small items like sockets.
Overall its a good buy. I wish the pockets had just a but more give to them, fit a bit bigger items. Like my hex-key set is just a bit too wide for the biggest pocket.But it's a handy zippered pocket, durable fabric, and rolls up tight with a sturdy velcro.
This thing is made super well and has good storage. Looks like it will hold up well too.
But it would be nice if the zipper worked without having to finesse it. The roll seems well manufactured and can securely hold variety of tools. But did I really need this? No, I don't think I did. Overall, it added bulk and volume to my load. The much smaller tool bag of my KLR held most of the tools I carry. No problem that they were in contact with each other. Only tools not in that pouch were tire irons and a couple long wrenches. To each his own I guess.
