These bags are pretty snazzy, nice texture. They feel strong, look nice and are very light. I park my bike on the street because I'm broke lol, which means they've been exposed to plenty of rain overnight and I found the inside to be pretty dry, but not quite perfectly dry. Truth be told I didnt even get to use them or take a picture of them on my bike because it got stolen so that sucks, I'm considering buying them again, but they do look pretty funky on the tenere because theyre so small so i might not. These would be good for a day trip or if you have a tiny tent

Extra durable and sturdy, very very impressed by the quality for the price.Put them to the test during a 4 days of rally, where 1 bike out of 3 were breaking because of the abuse, but 1 thing that held up all the abuse for the whole week-end were my saddlebags !!Highly recommend if you are looking for the smallest saddlebags to carry around tools, tube and extra clothing, just the perfect size for traveling light.Would not recommend if you plan on moto camping, might need larger bags

Bought during winter on sale so didn't notice a couple defects 'till installing them in Spring. One of the lower securing buckle was laced wrong so the securing strap wouldn't cinch up. Also the top side aux loops to secure a top bag was laced wrong. After the 3rd use one of the lower buckle ripped out while cinching down. Fixed it with pip rivets. Took the time to relace the wrong laced buckle and pip riveted back on too.Overall the price point is good. They just need to do a better quality control check and use better stitching at stress points.

I wanted to get some small, and not deep saddle bags for my BMW 1200 GSA, for day rides, so I wouldn't have to use my large and bulky side cases. I love the quality( 5 stars) of these Nelson Rigg Bags. No fussy roll top, just nice simple zippers. But when I hold these up against my side racks, the bags look so small, almost freakishly small so ( 3 stars there). They just looked a lot bigger in the picture. I'll probably return them and look for something bigger and more square, that fits the racks. But not as deep as my aluminum cases, that was the whole point to begin with.
This is a first impression and installation review, as I have not used the bags yet. I am update my review in a few months as I gain experience with these bags. First, I think it is a good value for the price - the material seems strong, the design and shape of the bags is very nice, and installation is straightforward. I am familiar with Wolfman luggage, an I don't think the Nelson Rigg bag is of lesser quality, but time will tell. One thing that I wanted to emphasize is the proper and correct placement of heat shields over an exposed exhaust. I have an FMF exhaust on my WR250R and heat shield is required. I actually have two for extra piece of mind. I actually have two for extra piece of mind. As you can see in the photos below, the bag mounts secure and tight over the heat shields, which need to be positioned high so as to prevent any contact between the hot surface of the exhaust and the back of the bag. I used the provided extra straps to secure the bags to my Tusk rack, and not the one with the metal "hooks" - it's just simpler and easier. Once the straps are tightened the bags feel quite secure and I am confident they can handle offroad riding without isses. Love the external pouches and the reflective areas. Overall, a great value and I am looking forward to taking these bags to Mexico for a 2-week trip in 2019!
Nelson Rigg is top shelf! I have the Hurricane tank bag and tail bag. I also have the enduro saddlebags. Lifetime warranty, great construction and finish, and really good price point. The biggest plus?....These items can easily be moved across a variety of motorcycles as the design is so good!-m-2024 HONDA CRF300L--
The first set I recieved fell apart on my first ride. Just one of those things. Per usual everyone at Rocky MTN and Nelson-Rigg made the replacement as flawless as possible and i got a new set after the return was made. I used the new set a few timesand was happy with the performence. My biggest issue was there is one set of straps that attach the bags to the bike as well as close the main pocket. So if you change your load at all you may need to re tighten all the attachment straps as well. other bags have one set of straps to secure it to the bike, and one set to close the pockets and secure the load. i do know there are plenty of people who love it.
It is about an order that I submitted to FortNine end of June 2022Description: Nelson-Rigg Black Dual Sport Enduro Saddlebags,The issue is in connection with the right saddlebag Plastic Strap Adjuster and Ladder lock Buckle. This part was wrong sewn and does not allow to fix the strap properly on the bike.t It has created a subsequent issue when the strap loses tighten and finally contacts the exhaust. As a result, the straps are getting burned all the time. see pictures 1,2,3 and 4See in picture 5 that The left saddlebag buckle+strap was perfectly sewedSee in picture 6, that the strap is finally useless and the bag cant be used anymor after only one month !
Great small saddlebags. I fitted them to my CRF300L for a 2 day Trail Ride and they were really good and just enough room to fit my gear and 2 small fuel bottles. I didnt need to expand them. They didnt mark the side covers on the bike. Highly Recommended.
Well made saddlebags. Perfect size for my DR200S.Easy install, did numerous test runs with empty bags to ensure right side was staying away from exhaust. Added some heatshield to bag as well. Finally did a small grocery run. Light load but filled both sides, checked before leaving store and checked 3 times during ride home on exhaust side. All was well.Pulled into driveway, smelt burning plastic. Sure enough bag managed to make contact with piping and tool compartment (empty). Longer trip would have been worse.Get them if you have an underseat exhaust or an aftermarket saddlebag bracket that keeps the bags away from the bike.BUT if not you will eventually burn the right side. I was on paved road, didn't even make offroad yet.
