Neostrata PHA Renewal Pads 55ml

I love a good treatment pad! The pads themselves are very thin and very soft, not scratchy like some other brands. I didn’t notice a strong fragrance or chemical smell which is another huge plus! Most importantly, these pads did NOT irritate my sensitive skin!!! No immediate redness, burning or irritation. The jar has a lot of liquid keeping all pads very wet and ready for use. One pad is way more than enough to use on your entire face and neck. After applying my face felt VERY soft, almost weirdly soft and smooth. I felt like there was a residue that never really absorbed. I only used these pads at night and noticed that the following day all of my typical dry spots were crusty and flaky. I’m a pretty obsessive skincare routine girl so I played a lot with these but the results were always the same.; Weirdly and almost overly soft skin at night and flaky dry skin the next day. Sadly for me these are not a winner but I think for someone with less sensitive skin they could work great. I’d definitely try something else from this line!

I received this product for free from Influenster and Neostrata in exchange for my honest review. Let’s talk about my skin for a moment. I have texture issues and combo (in the summer) skin. I used these twice a day and began to notice my texture became visibly more even, especially on my forehead, which is my main problem area. I don’t have sensitive skin, but I can tell you these are very gentle. Honestly, I didn’t think I would see any improvements in my texture because it’s only a 4%. Man was I pleasantly surprised! Also, my skin feels hydrated with no access oil. Definitely a must have!

Some may look for that roughness when it comes to exfoliating but not I, the pad definitely exfoliated with giving moisture right after but didn’t keep my skin feeling hydrated. At the price point for these pads I feel there may be other options that are less expensive to give the same results. The pads are filled with product so truly I feel you can also cut them in half to get more bang for your buck . I’ve only used the pads for about two weeks and will continue to use them so that I’m able to give a more in depth review of the results I receive. I was delighted to receive Neostrata PHA Renewal Pads from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The ingredients in these wipes are good. PHA is supposed to be a great acid for exfoliation that doesn’t cause as much irritation as others, while still being just as effective. I was really excited to try this product. I was less excited about these wipes after using them. The wipes are small and flimsy. And the formula of the PHA makes your face sticky. I didn’t enjoy using these and would not buy them in the future. There are plenty of other products that don’t leave your face sticky and where the pads are large enough to actually clean your whole face.

The brand recommends using these twice daily after cleansing, but if you have truly sensitive skin, I’d suggest starting slowly. . I started using these pads on August 10th, and for the first 1.5 weeks, used them every other day. I then used them daily for 2 weeks, before increasing to twice daily. Just after 2 days of twice daily use, I had to stop because my skin around the eyes and mouth (where I’m eczema prone) stung when I put my other skincare on. It smoothes and brightens my skin but I didn’t notice it being better (or worse) than my other exfoliating products. . This may not be that important to others, but I love the oval shape and size of the pad, and how perfectly soaked they are. It fits perfectly around my finger, it’s not too drippy nor too dry, and the smooth texture (no embossing on one side, as most other brands’ pre-soaked pads are) is truly more gentle on my skin. It does leave a slightly sticky finish, but I don’t mind, as I’d always follow with serums moisturizer. . If you are new to exfoliation and/or have sensitive skin, these are definitely worth trying!

I'm always a bit hesitant to test skincare products with my sensitive skin but so far I haven't had any adverse effects from using the PHA Renewal Pads. Fingers crossed that it remains that way with continued use. I really like that it doesn't take long for the product to soak in and that it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or sticky after each use. Product packaging is simple a great bonus is having the little tray inside the jar as an added layer of protection to keep the pads from drying out. Not sure I would pay the retail price though as it seems a bit steep for a 30-day supply. If they really help even out my skin tone relieve the dullness I might consider the price worth it. We'll see.

I loved the Neostrata PH Renewal pads. For the last few years I’ve struggled with dermatitis it’s not only affected my scalp but my skin. I have extreme dryness inflammation in my skin when I have a flare up. I’ve been using this in conjunction with a foaming moisturizing wash. The pads help remove any dry dead skin cells that I miss. It instantly hydrated my skin gives me an amazing glow even before I use a moisturizer. These are a game changer for me! I included before after pictures to show how on just the first use I got amazing results. I’d definitely add these to my current skin routine.

I thought the Neostrata pads were great! There are a lot more pads in the container than I thought. Each pad is fully saturated with product. I used these day and night and saw how much brighter and even my skin looked. It makes your skin look like you did a sheet mask without actually having to do a sheet mask! I have oily skin and was worried the product would make my skin look oilier and it did not! I think it's a great to use if you want to introduce your skin to PHA. Overall, I would suggest these to friends and family!
