Neostrata Resurface Glycolic Renewal Serum 30 ml

I love the pearlescence of the serum, it's quite pretty. It doesn't smell awful, which is good; I'm not a fan of the scent of the cream or cleanser in the Resurface line. It goes on beautifully, and too be honest, using this last of the 4 products I think it does 80% of the work in making my skin feel soft and smooth. Would definitely buy it. I've used it nightly for 6 weeks and there is still a lot of product in the bottle. I thought, being a glass bottle, the amount would be deceptive judging by weight. But I opened the bottle and was very pleasantly surprised by having a lot of product still. I actually give this 4.5/5 but sadly they don't allow half stars in rating.

I have been such a big fan of AHAs since a few months now but have never tried them in my serums, only in my toners. This is the first glycolic acid serum I have used and I am so happy with the results I am seeing. I follow it up after my Neostrata Glycolic Cleanser and initially I thought two AHa products used together might be too much for my skin but becuase I have built an endurance to chemical exfoliants in my skincare my skin did not react negatively to the two products used together. In just one week I can see a significant improvement in the way my pores look and is helping with the lines near my eyes. I have also noticed a visible difference in the texture of my skin and how the makeup sits on it after this serum. I just bought this on the recommendation of a sales associate from shoppers drug mart in the beaches and this product is amazing! It dissolves easily, no redness, has a neutral scent and I've experienced no burning or itching sensation. I do not use anything other than soap and water to wash my face. So after washing, I applied and rubbed one small pump on my face. Next, I applied some plain Eucerin cream to my face followed by 2 pea size of sunscreen from La Roche Posay. Believe it or not but after the first day my skin already looked more glowing (that could also be because I've been using religiously a mix of Eucerin cream and lactic acid lotion to my face 2 times per week for over 10 years). Lastly, I applied my usual Capture Youth Sculptor by Dior. The names on the influenster reviews seem a little different to the name on the products I received- so it's a little confusing. Overall I'm not sure I'd repurchase this one as it is quite expensive $56 at Chemist Warehouse. I'm not sure I need something this intense in my routine just yet as I find their glycolic cleanser sufficient for my glycolic needs currently.

Dries nicely on face and doesn’t feel heavy or wet which Is a big plus for me- I hate when I can feel my face cream sitting on my face. Stings a bit and tingles for the first minute or so after applying but that is the Resurfacing ingredients working I am pretty sure. Settles down after a few minutes. This serum is THICK. I am not used to such a sticky and heavy serum personally. My skin looks good after using it, but I can feel my hair sticking to my face for the next 20 minutes and if I rub my face at all, it pills up and sits there looking like small balls of lint on my face. Guess it's a good way to keep myself from touching my face 😂. This Neostrata product causes the least amount of burning of the three I received, which is a plus. The smell is reminiscent of cleaner and cheap leather. I am not a fan. Oh, and like with all others, DO NOT get this near the corners of your mouth or on your lips. Bad, BAD acidic taste. Great at clearing up my severe acne and clogged pores

I have had serious acne, covering my entire face, since I was 14yrs old. I even tried Accutane in my 20's and then in my 30's without success. Skin just eventually grew over my unhealed acne, burring it deep within my face, and creating a very lumpy texture, which I had to cover up using make-up. I am now in my 60's and decided to try to clear up my acne again, given that there are now awesome new products and ingredients to choose from. I am seeing amazing results, from the Glycolic Mousse Cleanser. Slowly but surely, all the old acne, from deep within my skin, is coming to the surface, and is healing up nicely. It is also doing a great job at treating and healing new acne, as I still continue to battle ongoing acne breakouts, in my 60's

Really impressed

I was given the serum for free as part of a mum to be pack thing and though it took a little time to kick in once my skin was used to the ritual it just completely cleared up. I’ve tried a LOT of products and this serum leaves me with the same feeling after a hydration mask. I’m impressed by its quality and efficiency. I’m just super sad it’s completely out of my budget to continue to use.

Really nice serum!

This serum is really thin and absorbs very quickly into the skin. Layers well under a moisturizer too! I shake mine before using each time. Keeps my skin very smooth and I've started using it on my neck and chest. Really nice glycolic acid serum at a good price!

Works miracle!

I received this as a Black Friday gift from LovelySkin.Used on my legs last night and this morning my legs became so smooth! It felt like all the pores were unclogged. I only wish the long list of fragrances can be removed or reduced from the product. I have sensitive skin on my face and always avoid products with fragrance.
