Neostrata Restore Bionic Face Serum 30 ml

This is a gorgeous serum that leaves the skin feeling hydrated and fresh. It does have a slight scent but it’s not overpowering which is nice. I did find that the dry down is a little sticky. This would be great under moisturiser and foundation. This is great for dry skin with the added benefits of anti ageing properties. It’s pretty lightweight on the skin and a little goes a long way.Overall I’m really happy with this serum and will continue to use it!

I have used a few brands of face serums in the last few years. But, by far, this has been the most effective one. My first impression was that it is sticky, but it feels fine once you apply face cream over it. Within a few days of using it, my dryness reduced considerably. By the second week, my skin felt soft and plump. By the third week, I had a clearer face and smoother skin. I have been using it regularly as part of my routine and will buy when once I finish this one.

I completely love this product! my dermatologist gave me a few samples for me to try it and after 4 days of using it i could totally see a difference in my skin´s texture and brightness. During winter my skin gets really really dry so this gave me the booster that i needed. You only need a little bit of product to cover your face and only a really thin layer. Ive seen comments stating that its sticky and it actually is but ive been using it only at night and it usually takes around 20 min for it to fully absorb and the next day my skin feels super smooth and velvet. Im 100% buying this product after running out of my samples. Also you only need a couple of drops of the product ive been using the same little sample packet for almost 1 week!

Ok so this is actually a review for NEOSTRATA ILLUMINATING SERUM but it's not yet in the system. I was privileged to be involved in a PR campaign by NeoStrata and try this wonderful serum. (See my IG for full _) Anyway I really enjoy using this brightening and dark spot fading product. The ingredients are fab! It's nearly all "natural" with flowers and fruits as the main ingredients.. It has a slight orange-y smell upon first applying but quickly disapates leaving it fragrance free. It's cruelty free vegan and no artificial fragrance added. I believe even the most sensitive skin can use it. While I loved the packaging and the beautiful bottle and the pump, I wasn’t impressed by the formula. Once again similar feeling from the eye cream, bit tingly/cold but was too much and bothered me. Skin felt irritated even after removal. Everyone’s skins different so would highly recommend a patch test like with any new skin product. Such a shame as I really wanted to love it. Also had a smell to it that I wasn’t a fan of.

I always enjoy products that come as a pump top rather than a dropper. I just find it helps keep the product clean etc and avoids contamination. I’m not normally a fan of sticky products, which is unfortunately how I found this product settled onto my skin. However, I did find that it provides great hydration! I just have to be careful when I’m applying it as sometimes I can add a final layer over it, while others I end up leaving it as the last step in my routine

I’ll be completely honest, when I saw the price of this I was sceptical, but it will be worth every penny (I will be using Neostrata products from now on). If you want a sticky base to hold on makeup all day, THIS. IS. IT. It stays sticky for a while, which gives you time to properly lay down that makeup and I have had no issues with this as a base. I have sensitive skin as well as many skin conditions such as psoriasis, so my skin can be tedious but this product was so soft and moisturising that I had no reaction, using this with the other products in the Restore range (Restore Facial Cleanser, Restore Bionic Face Serum and the Restore Eye Cream) has provided me the best skin in years, it even cleared a spot of psoriasis on my face. As I have been using actives and serums for a while now, I eliminated them for a period of time whilst trying this Bionic Face Serum. To say the tacky texture of this product annoyed me would be an understatement. It did not have a nice feel when applying and it felt like I was lathering my face in glue! I had to wait for a minimum of at least 5 mins before the serum sunk in before I could get on with the rest of my routine, not good when in a rush in the morning so I left it to put on at night. Given that I do use a serum with a higher percentage of retinol, this product didn't really do much for myself, though it is a good starter for someone wanting to introduce it into their routine, as it does contain Retinyl Palmitate, albeit a low percentage as it is quite low in the ingredients list. If you can withstand the tackiness of this serum and are new to the world of actives and serums, this would be a good product to start with as I did not break out and it did not irritate my rosacea skin

Game Changer!

I switched all my skin care products to Neostrata 2 weeks ago. I was using a combination of other products for well over a year & was just not happy with the texture& appearance of my skin without makeup. So i decided to buy a complete line of products. I start with the wonderful exfoliating face wash which i will review separately. Next is the bionic serum. OMG...AMAZING!! I am 66 years old & in just a week I could see the difference in my skin. It's smoother looking, my large pores are alot less noticeable (which NO product has been able to do) & more lifted. The Best!

I have been using the Neostrata restore range for a few days now and I can already see a huge improvement to my skin tone and texture. I am no longer experiencing as many breakouts. My skin is quite sensitive, especially to new products; however, I haven't had any problems tranferring to the restore range. The face serum is one of many products I have used from the range, however it is becoming my favourite. It's really creamy on the skin and leaves my face feeling nourished and hydrated. My skintone has massively improved after ever use, I can't live without it
