Neostrata Skin Active Repair Exfoliating Wash 125ml

I'll start by saying I take decent care of my skin to begin with. The exfoliating wash was gentle, while foam based, it turned thin quickly. A slight chemical scent, but not overbearing. I then used the intensive eye cream- applied to under eye and laterals. Nice texture of cream and very soothing. Again, no real scent. I applied the lifting serum after. There was an extremely tiny amount of tingling/warmth to face. Blended easily into skin. No residual greasy or oil feel to it. Lastly, for PM, I applied the restoration cream which was thicker than I was expecting, but sealed all the other products in well. None of the products pilled after application. Once my skin is clean I use a toner, mist, some sort of peptide/vitamin serum dependant on my skins needs followed by a ceramide moisturiser and then rosehip or vitamin b oil. Exfoliating wash - The texture of the product is really similar to a light hair mousse. It has natural ingredients known for their soothing properties, PHA’s as well as being soap free which I loved. With the mousse consistency and ingredients what they are, I would still use an oil based cleanser to remove my makeup, a gel to clean my skin and then this product would be last due to the exfoliating elements but given the sticky film left on my skin that water couldn’t remove I would need to use another product. Tri therapy serum - the serum is thick and absorbs well into the skin. It contains Hyaluronic acid which is something I use on the daily and humectant ingredients. I liked that it absorbed quickly and didn’t sit on top of my skin. After using this product once my skin felt tight and then after few days my skin felt sunburnt which with strong ingredients can be normal but given my skin is quite used to some pretty strong vitamins/peptides and Neostrata advise to discontinue use should irritation occur, I did decide to discontinue use. Matrix support day cream - the cream is thick and like the serum it absorbs well. The serum and cream layer well together and don’t pill. I decided pretty quickly that this cream isn’t something that’s suited to my skin as it didn’t feel moisturised and in my opinion, my skin looked dull. The products layer very well with each other as well as other products that I used in combination. My makeup went on well and my skin did look smooth. I did note that my makeup didn’t look as nice throughout the day and it appeared to look creased around my mouth from talking. Not something that happens usually so worth noting. Final opinion - These products used in combination are not suitable for my skin and they don’t deliver the results I know my skin is capable of based on my own experimenting. Right now my skin is still feeling tight despite discontinuing use 3 days ago, it feels dry and looks irritated. Given these products are designed to be used together as well as not develop irritation I wouldn’t repurchase these products.

I cannot say that I like it, it is to chemical for my nose and smells like a cheap soap NEOSTRATA exfoliating wash does a good cleansing job, but my skin feels dry after I use it. It is not as drying as some other foams, but it is still not gentle enough for aging skin. I would recommend following up with a moisturizer after it I believe it will be good for oily, combination and normal skin. Unfortunately, will not be the best choice for aging and sensitive skin

I feel like they do not clean properly and I cant get a good exfoliation out of them. this product has completely changed my opinion on foaming cleansers! first, the scent is not too overwhelming, but also keep in mind it doesn't have a flowery or pretty scent. it smells like skincare. that is something I personally look for. I dont need the extras, I need it to work. I had low expectations for the exfoliation claim, but I could not believe how well this swept away my dead skin! I use this at the end of the day and it washed away my flakey lip skin like nothing without any rigorous scrubbing. this product does leave your face dry if you dont immediately follow up with your mist and serums so be aware of that. This face wash is said to contain AHA's which is perfect for exfoliation and for lightning and brightning. moreover it is nasties free meaning has no sulfates parapens soaps or fragrance which makes it one of the few products that is actually gentle. I love AHA's after using this product for a week, my skin already feels so smooth, and soft which is amazing. i guess its exfoliating factors and oil balancing factors made it perfect for fighting the congested oils on my nose that makes black heads my forever enemy. when I started it, I was a bit scared of dryness as all the exfoliating cleanser especially the foaming ones end up drying my skin slightly especially during winter time, yet this one doesnt seem to have this effect on my skin. In terms of makeup removal it remove almost everything, but i still need to double cleanse.I think it does what it says, it cleanse and leaves your skin refreshed without stripping it and it helped me with my clogged pores on my nose even in this short period.overall I do love it and i think all contiue using it.

This is a really good wash. For an exfoliating wash, it's super gentle. Like where you can barely even notice that it's happening. I love the foam formula, it's light as air. I believe this is really good for skin and a variety of skin types could use this successfully. It only takes one pump for a full wash so a container will last a long time. It rinsed clean and genuinely has no scent at all. Feels clean without stripping which is a huge plus for me

I first washed and followed immediately with the tri-therapy lifting serum in conjunction with the skin active repair moisturizer and intense eye therapy. I was only given small tubes so they only lasted one week. I referenced the sizes in my first pic. The only difference I observed was that my skin feels much more dry than before I used these products. No change of appearance of fine lines. My skin does not appear any different. My skin just feels more dry to me. My lips even seem more dry. I am almost 40 and have never had any type of filler or any work done. I am natural. Grey hairs, uneven skin tone and all. Amazing!

I'd heard rave reviews about the Neostrata cleanser and it definetly did not disappoint, I saw results in around a week! My skin feels fresh, more plump, and more hydrated. Ive tried lots of other skincare brands/products and none compare to Neostrata - Its the only brand Id use now. 100% worth it and a great price point for the quality of the product.

Excellent cleaner, fresh feel

I have tried many natural & or gentle products for my sensitive thin uneven skin. This foam cleaner along with using the glycolic renewal cream has already noticeably improved my skin tone, texture & brightness. I have had raised lump on my face for a decade that my lil one touches to go to sleep (frustrating) he mentioned it was harder to find as it was smoother after less than one week of use. I ordered 2 more. VERY HAPPY!

Great face wash, sometimes feel the skin come off

Don’t travel with it it leaks, don’t lay it in the side when storing it , will waste and leak! I scrub for about thirty seconds in circular motion, leave me feel tight and fresh in the face! I feel like I can feel dirt and dead skin right off! I switch off between this one and the clarify cleanser! Love both!
