Nespresso Essenza Mini Coffee and Espresso Machine by DeLonghi, Black

Oh I do love my mini espresso maker! I wanted one since there was one in our ABB in Italy. My hubby thought he would do better and bought me a regular espresso machine, so I held off. Rarely use that one. Finally I just ordered! So glad I did! Love it! Convenient and quick! No mess. No fuss!

I previously had a Mixpresso brand but it started having problems after 7 months. It never really made excellent espresso, would have issues fully puncturing the pods and it was really loud, so bad I had to fold a dish towel and put the machine on top of that to help the vibration and noise. Decided to go with the real deal and got this Nespresso machine. After watching videos comparing different Nespresso machines and how they all performed the same and pulled the same espresso shot I went with the Essenza Mini, It’s compact and the price was reasonable. And it’s quieter than the bigger Nespresso machines. So far it works great! Makes great espresso. I haven’t had it very long so if I start having issues I will update my review. But I definitely can tell a quality difference between Nespresso and the knockoff brand.

There aren't enough amazing things I can say about this mighty little pot! I used to be a Starbucks twice a day girl but we all know how expensive that is! After using this, I haven't been back to Starbucks! I absolutely love how easy it is to use, clean and store! This makes amazing coffee and it tastes better than the $8 drinks from the drive through! It is the perfect edition to my coffee bar!

I’ve been hunting for one for a while because it’s often sold out whenever goes on a sale, but I was able to secure one and now coffee is a part of my everyday routine. I have one that includes aerocino as well and it’s a game changer. I love that it’s compatible with original Nespresso capsules as there are many off Nespresso brands that offers different types of coffees to broaden the variety. If you’re thinking about a coffee machine - get this one, it’s super small and incredibly efficient!

Essenza Mini makes great espresso

This was a gift for my daughter and my review is based on testing it once. The Essenza seems to make a larger quantity of stronger coffee than my Pixie that I've had for years. This is the biggest and most important plus! It is compact and cute and perfect for a college apartment. The downsides are the thin plastic that attaches the water tank to the coffee maker--seems less sturdy than the Pixie's tank and might break easily. Also, the short height of the machine won't accommodate taller coffee mugs, but removing the drip base helps. Overall, we are happy with the Essenza Mini!

The strength of the coffee is rated on a scale from 4 through 12, with 12 being the strongest. I've not seen anything below 4, which is already pretty weak. Even the stronger capsules stay on the soft side of bitterness.The Mini comes with a sample box of Nescafe capsules, including a couple which are decaffeinated. These are also rated for strength (same scale). I was surprised at how good they were.At the same time, capsules are available from other sources. They are rated on a similar scale. You can find them on Amazon, but we found capsules from Peets coffee, and from Archer Farms in stock in the coffee section at Target. I am not a sophisticated coffee drinker, but I found them equally enjoyable.Finally, having an espresso maker at home has allowed us to experiment with a quick version of Vietnamese Coffee. A tablespoon or two of sweetened condensed milk in a Lungo sized cup, filled with one of the stronger coffees, does the trick.

It heats quickly and measures and pumps the water. The water tank is easy to fill and holds enough for 4-6 cups of espresso. The Nespresso Essenza Mini is compact and uses very little counter space. Perfect

I have had the Essenza Mini Piano Black bundle with milk frother for 6 months and use it daily. I cannot say enough good things about it. I works perfectly like new every time. Does not leak unlike the several kurig machines I’ve used and thrown out over the years. Coffee tastes amazing and they have a free recycling program for the capsules. This machine takes the original capsules which are easy to find and cheaper than the vertuo. I absolutely love this thing and 100% would purchase again. Milk frother works great too and is easy to clean.

Stop hesitating and buy it!

I've only had this a few days, but I've drank enough espresso to light up Vegas lol.1: it's small, really small, in the best way. It takes up so little counter space.2: I've noticed no quality/flavor difference between the espresso and Lungo sizes, it's not watery tasting on the Lungo with the Nespresso brand pods.3: it's quiet, really quiet. Undecided

We got this machine with the milk frother for our wedding. We have friends with a similar model and loved the espresso when we had it at their place! This is quick to pull a cup of your favorite espresso and with the milk frother it is super simple to create barista quality beverages at home. However, about once a week or so, the machine gives off the odor of burning plastic and the espresso is also ruined with plastic notes. It makes us wonder if this is really BPA and phthalate free. We were also missing the free coffee sample with our first order. This website is not user friendly if you have a question or concern about the products.
