I have been so excited to try these shoes, as I have seen many people wear them at races, and they exceeded my expectations! I have always loved Nikes for lifting and for casual wear, but I haven’t really used them for running until now. The fit seems good, but these are heavy and stiff - not at all what I was expecting from the zoom flys based on the previous iterations. They are not responsive and the propulsive energy seems to just die rather than spring back with some momentum. By the end of just a 5 miler my feet felt like they were encased in cement blocks. Very, very different from the racing shoe. One good point: the stability seems on point so you don’t get that wobbly feeling from similar high stacked shoes. The shoelaces are wonky; just too long, but they do stay tied which has been an issue in previous zoom, alpha etc. models. All in all, these are prob just ok for a heavy stability trainer but I would not race or do workouts in these unless you want to be unhappy with your splits :(

5 stars isn’t enough. I have been running in this shoe 5-6 times a week for 6 months and I still get excited when I put them on. It is the perfect shoe for me. It’s padded, the drop is just right and they hug my foot perfectly. I love them.For reference, I use these for 60 minute runs 2-3 times a week and HIIT workouts 2-3 times a week (my HIIT workout is generally 30 minutes treadmill, 30 minutes lifting). They are showing a little bit of wear on the upper, but the sole is still very springy. I think they’re going to last at least another 6 months, I wouldn’t be surprised if I was still running in the current pair next year at this time.

I spend most of my day on my feet as a preschool teacher and mother to young children and these shoes were extremely padded, supportive, and sturdy. They did not slide around on my feet or slip off of my heel. They also did not pinch my toes like many others I've tried. I haven't had a chance to wear them running outdoors yet thanks to a cold and snowy weather pattern, but I anticipate them being perfect for the job. The only downside I found with the shoes was that the grip around my upper heel/ankle began to rub against my skin. I do think that thicker socks (I prefer to wear thin, breathable socks) would solve this problem however. Overall, this is a great shoe that I would recommend to anyone looking for comfort and support.
