These are a super pair of quality optics,perfect to have in the pocket, and brilliant on walks whereyou do not want to be bogged down with heavy gear.Nikon a brand I trust, and these do not let this opinion down.

These are nice little Binoculars, light weight & easy to carry and use. They do suffer from a small amount of flare in bright conditions but not too bad for the price.
I compared the Nikon TO2 against a B&L unit with the same specs (10x21) which was more than 3x the $$ (Porro prisms), and the TO2 was absolutely as good in terms of flatness of the image, no edge or chromatic aberrations, brightness, focus, pretty much everything! Very happy I made the purchase!
My experience with binoculars is limited but I've always found it hard to get the two images lined up or i just get a small image of what I'm looking at. These are very easy to use, the magnification is just right to get close but not be shaky (light weight helps that too), the are small and light enough for our long hikes. Just keep them out of the rain.
The image is crisp and clear. They fit in my hand perfectly and are easily focussed. The little soft bag protects them and is easy to carry.
I wanted something to help me see the facial expressions on the ballet dancers when watching "Don Q." We had box seats because I can't sit in the orchestra since I am short and always end up behind a tall person.It took me a while to figure how to work them but after half an hour I was able because they are pretty intuitive. My friend had bought some opera glasses that were more decorative than functional so I shared these with her so she could see the acting."
Fits in my pocket,most important,when you change focus up or down,both sides move the same without slop.focus is the same in and out for both sides. I have had 2 other brands and both had slop that was in different amounts for each side,so both sides had a different rate of focus. These dont,they work perfectly.
This is a very small but relatively powerful device. A great value with an impressive quality. I am quite happy with this purchase.
