Sometimes, you find yourself needing a blender that can handle the workload. The Ninja blender is a must have in the kitchen. Its a champ! Doesn’t skip a beat! It can handle a good load it doesn’t even stall for one second. The Ninja takes care of business. This product is easy to clean, easy to operate and the safety feature is a nice addition. The blender includes a quick start book with a few recipes. It definitely gives you an idea out what this beast can do. If you’re a margarita fan or want a blender to crush the ice, this is for you. Oh yeah, it’s kinda loud, so be warned.

I have used this appliance for a wide range of preparations and cooking. I have used this to make smoothies, sauces, salsas, mixing, and dough making. It is very convenient and durable. The only complain I have is the only time I tried to make dough for bread. the dough mixing attachment isn't similar to a kitchen aid hook. I felt like the dough wasn't balling up but was instead sliced through. THIS could be a human error for sure but I had made this recipe before but not with the dough attachment. I use it for everything else and love how easy it is to use and clean.

This blender (along with my Ninja coffee pot and my KitchenAid mixer) is one of my favorite kitchen appliances. I love that this came with two different sized pitchers so I don't have to dirty the large one all the time. I also appreciate that the blades come out and are much easier to clean than traditional style blenders. The blades are super sharp so be careful! But the super sharp blades means that you won't have to pulse the ice for margaritas a million times 😁 We've had our blender for 6+ years now and it's still going strong (and the blades are still very sharp) Zero instances of that burning plastic smell other blenders start to have after a year or so of use. I am absolutely impressed with the quality of this blender. It makes the best smoothies. I purchased due to major dental surgery and needed something to make great healthy smoothies with. Does not leave chunks of ice like other blenders. It thoroughly blends all ice, frozen fruit and juices together for the perfect drink. I wish I would have purchased sooner but was hesitant because of the price. It is well worth the money so if your hesitant like I was, I recommend adding this to your kitchen.

Lastly, the clean up of this is a breeze. I add a little soap and some hot water and turn my blender on and it cleans out everything thoroughly, especially the blades. Once that’s done, I just rinse with some more warm water and it’s totally clean. I absolutely love Ninja products and this one is no exception. Anytime I see a product made by Ninja, I already know it’s going to be phenomenal. I use my Ninja blender all of the time and won’t use anything else.

DISCONTINUED PRODUCT - MODEL - BL681C

Customer support said the 1500W units have power issues therefore they have discontinued them. Only used less than 5 times within 2 months of pruchasing, it stopped working. Called Ninja for warranty, they have discontinued the 1500W Model - Bl681C blender and gave me a replacement for their 1200W blender Model - BL642. This was their closest match to the one I have minus the FOOD PROCESSOR BOWL, which the rep agreed to send that separately. I am a Ninja fan already own one blender, was upgrading to a bigger one, this was kind of disappointing, nevertheless all products have glitches here and there. Hope the 1200W Model - BL642 unit is a better product... Cheers.

False start

I purchased the unit Jan 2018 after a colleague treated me to what I refer to as his Ninja mix, consisting of several vegetables sweetened with orange, grapes and juice. I laughed at it for about 2 weeks before trying it and finding the veggie mix tasted far better than I could have imagined, not to mention it would be a considerable change toward eating healthier. I finally got around to using my high output blender after letting it sit for 8 months. I used the medium sized cup which worked fine except for a moment requiring me to fit the pitcher on the base, in order to reset the flashing red power light. I used the pulse feature. The next day my teen wanted to make a smoothie. I tried fitting the other new container options and none of them were successful at restoring normalcy to the base. All containers were fitted properly. Finally in frustration, I lifted the base off the table a few inches and dropped it back down (not knowing that this was a documented action to take in some instances) and still no response. In frustration, I grabbed the base as if to press the counter release buttons on the bottom, but instead placed my thumbs on the top console buttons and proceeded to press and drag my thumbs down across several buttons at once and suddenly part way through this tantrum, the blender fired up with the empty pitcher in place. I was astonished and froze in place, until I remembered the containers should not be run empty. I shut it down, setup my mix and so far it has worked as intended with one exception, the power button remains solid red start to finish.The "ninja people" have made a note on my account of the current status in case it relapses while under warranty. I understand that when they decide to "treat" a condition with one of these units, they provide a shipping label and the customer pays ~$20 for return shipping which translates into the customer having paid shipping to and from the company for repair of their "shouldn't be broken in the first place" product. Despite my misfortune, if it works, it's a good piece of equipment to have, if it works that is. If mine gives out after the warranty is up, I'll fix it with a better product from a different and more reputable company. I'd still recommend it although reluctantly given how problematic this issue is for many customers if you perform a google search as it looks like some image cleanup work has been performed since just before i made my purchase. The only reviews that matter are the negative reviews as they yield the truth about what problems you may encounter with the product.I read about problems like this with the ninja, but believed the company had worked the trouble spots out. WRONG!

It was good while it lasted.

We bought this blender set for Christmas 2019 (last year's model). We use one of the three blenders pretty much daily for smoothies, hummus, and various baking recipes. We were super pleased with it, loved the 3 in 1 design, and with the exception of it being mind numbingly loud, it worked incredibly well - for almost exactly 366 days. After one year, and as soon as the warranty ran out, it just started falling apart. First the food processer stopped spinning (I believe the cogs are stripped), then the small smoothie cups stopped working unless I push down on it while it's running, and now after 13 months, the big blender only works if you install it a very particular way. Pro blender for budget price

Love the whole ninja range. Blender and food processor perform similar to one’s I have used in professional kitchens and the small blending attachment performs much better than our NutriBullet which we have now sold. Really great value is comparing the price to buying these products separately, especially as it’s often on sale! I’m very happy with how compact this set is, and there are no unnecessary attachments to fill the draw and never be used like with our old food processor. The base also suction cups to the bench which is really handy for how powerful it is as it auto blends and you can walk away to continue with your food prep. Would recommend!!

Smooth smoothies

The ultra blend actually makes the smoothies feel smoother. I used an old ninja blender I had and compared to this one it does actually make a difference. It really breaks down all the seeds from fruits. Very powerful. And obviously yes it’s loud, it’s a blender, what else were people expecting! The lid has a closure cap for the drinking spout for the cups, which some older models didn’t have. So not to worry about spilling. Also it’s really nice the unit has buttons on the side when you lift it so the suction cups on the counter release and you can easily move it. I used the chopping once a long time ago and from what I remember it was amazing. Everything chopped up evenly.
