Nitecore TM9K Tac Turbo Ready Torch - 9800 Lumens
The TM9K TAC is the successor of the well-known and popular TM9K from Nitecore. Like its predecessor, the TM9K TAC has a Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 5000mAh. The battery is charged via a USB-C connection integrated in the lamp head. This means that no extra charger is necessary. This integrated charger delivers a charging power that charges the battery by approx. 80% after less than 2 hours. The TM9K TAC achieves a maximum output of 9800 lumens at a light range of 280 metres. The attached Tactical Ring cannot be removed. The TM9K TAC is operated via two switches, both located on the end cap. The main switch is used to turn the lamp on and off and to activate the momentary light function. The mode switch is used to switch through the five different modes + the strobe mode. It is also equipped with a mode memory function. This is particularly interesting for tactical use, as the last light mode used is saved and after switching the lamp off and on again, it lights up in exactly this mode. The turbo mode can also be called up immediately via the mode switch. To protect the Nitecore TM9K TAC from unintentional activation, it is equipped with a lockout function. A small LED light on the end cap of the lamp provides constant information about the charging status. A constant switched light electronic, which ensures a continuous glow of the lamp, as well as a temperature control, which regulates the light output of the lamp as soon as the housing gets too warm, enables a problem-free long-term use.

TM9K TAC bundleI bought the TM9K to use as an everyday tactical self defense light and it works amazingly well, I was using the p10ix before and it was good but I needed something with higher lumens so that it is even more effective in a wider range of circumstances. The light it produces on turbo is incredible. The size and ergonomics is one of the best things about this light, for myself it is super easy to fit in a front pocket of jeans or the inside pocket of a coat. The 2000 lumens is incredible useful because it can run for around 3 hours I find this very useful when I am working over time on large housing extension builds, this light let's myself and 3 other people work a large area at night using our battery powered tools even when the power is out we just ... MoreTM9K TAC bundleI bought the TM9K to use as an everyday tactical self defense light and it works amazingly well, I was using the p10ix before and it was good but I needed something with higher lumens so that it is even more effective in a wider range of circumstances. I think it would be amazing if nitecore was to make an adjustable clamp style stand for its more tactical lights to fit into so that it could be angled to certain areas and also possibly suspended from scaffold or other frames in the roof. Super happy with this light and the bundle with the new P30 made it even better a great emergency light that can run at 1 lumen for 950 hours on a fully charged 4000mah battery and it comes with a spare so it could give you a small light source for around 6 months of nights at a stretch.

This is a small and very powerful flashlight and with that there is always a trade off. It can't dissipate heat quickly enough to stay on Torch or high mode. It will always be less than 30s in Torch, and high is more dependent on you having used torch before and ambient temperatures, but it seems to be 2-5 min. The second from high is nothing special, and definitely isn't worth the larger size head. Torch is amazing at night (definite WOW factor), but if you are looking for your dog in the forest it won't be of much help for long. It seems to be more of a flood light then a spotlight. The strobe mode is super disorienting even from behind the flashlight because of how bright it is - so fantastic for it's purpose. It fits in your pocket, but again the heat it throws means your pants stay warm for a minute or two. Also if it turns on inside your pocket you will know.

Love this flashlight. It's the 2nd one I ordered. I work graveyard & very useful for my job. If ever you come out with a higher lumens more than 9800 in this size. Model if possible. I would definitely purchase one!!!
This flashlight was even smaller than I was expecting but is extremely bright in turbo mode. Turbo will heat it up quick because of its small size but the lower settings can stay on without getting too hot and they’re plenty bright as well. Definitely an awesome flashlight if you need something compact but really bright
The TMK9 is the sun in your pocket !!! It is compact and works great. The instant on/off switch on the tail-cap is perfect for tactical use. No need to click multiple times to turn the light off. There is a BOOST button next to the tail-cap button if you just need the power of the sun to light up your intended viewing region. This is my 7th light from Nitecore and so far all of them are good to go.
The light is floody. You think you know that before you buy it. But you don't. It's really really floody. I've heard some people describe other high Lumen floody lights as a "Wall of Light" but that never really rang true, until now. This is the most floody light I have ever owned. There is no cone. It's more like a 180 degree half sphere of light. The light serves no purpose what-so-ever. It has no reasonable use. But I do love it. And it's got Nitecore's typical high quality build and feel.
The NITECORE TM9K TAC 9800 Lumen USB-C Rechargeable Flashlight is wonderful. Lots of bright light in a small package. This is my every day carry. Please keep improving the lumen output, heat management, smaller size for the hand, and reduced weight. Great work! Good job to date!
Bought this for a gift, but the charge port cover broke off before i could even wrap it up !! the battery CANNOT be removed and dosent last long.THE head is front heavy and to big for EDC.also a side switch version would work better with its front heaviness. BUT!!! THIS LITTLE GUY DOES FIT IN POCKETS AND PUTS OUT SO MUCH LIGHT ITS SICK!!! MY NEW FAV LIGHT !!! and i have a LOT of HIGH POWER LIGHTS a definate SHOW BOAT !!!
charge port is LOUSY cheop design broke first nite! battery not removable, but i knew that going into this heavy for an edc especially the front , but thats to be expected from its design i wish the tac ring was a little bigger with its front heaviness
