Nivea In-Shower Nourishing Body Lotion 13.5 fl oz

I've only recently started using in-shower moisturizers or body oils, but they work so well! This product is no exception, and would rate 5 stars with me if I liked the Nivea fragrance. I don't really care for the scent, and find that the nature of its use (last body product before leaving the shower) means it covers over any other preferable scents I use prior (body wash, scrub, etc). Aside from this, it's a great product.

I have tried this a few times now. It is more heavily moisturizing than some in-shower lotion, but it has a slight powdery smell (maybe from the almond oil? Not sure) and I don't like that. Sometimes I smell it more than other times after using, but I definitely am not a fan. It is more thick and moisturizing than the other scents of this product, though, and it's nice to apply really quickly, rinse, and go on with your day versus spending a ton of time after showering to apply normal lotion. It is even adequate for moisture in the cold, dry winter weather, which is impressive.

This is a fairly good body lotion….. I like it so much because it’s a convenient and quick product to use. Sometimes I don’t have the time to put on body lotion fresh out the shower because I’m in a hurry and got get dressed and out the door so to be able to apply lotion on in the shower, rinse off and be done is epic in my opinion. This is also a really good option to use in the summer time when it’s hot and sticky and you don’t want some thing heavy over the skin like lotion because you will be sweating it off but still want smooth soft skin. This lotion actually gets the job done, I mean it smells really nice and my skin does feel smooth and soft after using it. I will say I am a little bit skeptical though. Excuse my shower right now (under construction - along with a lot of things in my life haha) but I still wanted to post a picture. My dude and myself love this stuff. It TRULY does work and I was skeptical. Been using it for years. I don’t even rinse it off half the time. Only thing that I can say is a con is that your shower floor can and will become a caution zone! Lol be careful especially shaving (one leg up etc) Other than that this stuff is great and I remember when it first came out years ago I couldn’t wait to just try it! Everyone I know who’s ever talked about it or bought it had raved about it / loved it. Like I said just be careful - also quick tip it can leave a film so I give my shower a really good rinse when I get out!

Nivea; one of my top five must have brands!I love their products! Makes my skin feel amazing! It's a VERY good moisturizer hands down! After I've been washing my hands all day, you can feel the love and appreciation when I use this product on my skin! I love the travel size and the convenience of keeping it in several places: purse, car, work...which is a must have ! Travel sizes products are a NEED!

This is one product that I always make sure to have on hand. I’ve got dry skin, especially in the winter time. But I’m often too lazy to lotion my body after I get out of the shower. Nivea nourishing in-shower body lotion allows me to moisturize my skin right before I leave my shower. It’s not greasy at all and smells great! More importantly, it leaves my skin feeling smooth and supple.

A Dry Skin Staple

A fellow eczema sufferer recommended this to me years ago and I still use it. It does have a strong scent but that wears off quickly. This is not a lotion replacement but a lotion layer that helps your skin not to dry out. I use this in the shower and then apply lotion which lasts longer. Does not irritate my sensitive skin. Needs to be applied and rinsed in the shower.

Does not work for dry skin...

*side note: I love the nonshower Nivea body lotions and creams.I have very dry skin all year long. I lather on Nivea lotion after each shower which takes a while to soak in. It's tough to get pantyhose, etc. on after this even tho getting dressed was the last in my morning routine. I had to switch to showering in the evening.I was super excited when I found Nivea in-shower body lotion for very dry skin while shopping. It's used in the shower, activated by water, for my skin type that advertised, "Simply apply, rinse and go." I couldn't wait to take a shower...So disappointed, it didn't work, not even a little. Perfect In Shower Moisturizer

I love this in shower moisturizer! Thick creamy lotion without feeling sticky or greasy after applying. I have sensitive skin. This does not cause any irritation or clogged pores. Lightly scent is not feminine or masculine. My husband has started using this too. I liberally apply this at the very end of my shower or bath routine. I turn off the water for a min while I apply moisturizer all over, while skin is still wet, and then one final rinse off. I recommend the pat dry method. If the weather is extremely humid, it will take a bit longer to completely dry. I think you will love it!

Potentially a great option if you have sensory issues with body lotion

Why did I wait so long to try this after multiple midwest winters? Body lotion is uncomfortably sticky to me and I dislike the extra step, so I used to just deal with the dry skin. This in-shower lotion is so quick and easy to apply and leaves my skin feeling naturally soft with no residue or stickiness. It has a fairly generic scent with a mild amount of the almond oil which is a scent I like. It doesn't linger after applied. The texture is easy to squeeze out of the bottle and control how much comes out. It doesn't feel like lotion or body creams really, it's really its own texture. It reminds me of Korean essences that when applied mesh onto the skin without leaving stickiness. I'm a little split on how I feel about it having petrolatum in it, but it is what it is.
