I purchased this specifically because I have been on hormone replacement therapy and did not wish to continue with it. I have an imbalance of estrogen now, and am estrogen dominant. After exhaustive research, I was interested in this product as a way to get my hormones in balance again.I have purchased other products from NOW and I trust the company. This pill is easy to swallow, BUT it does turn your urine a strange goldenrod color. I take 1 capsule after a meal with all my other supplements and have had no ill side effects.I read it takes 30 days to start balancing hormones and it has been a few weeks, but I do feel OK with out any hot flashes.

My wife had a sterilization 3 years ago. We have 4 kids before our last darling son and she always lost the baby weight within 6 months after the babies. The gynae said there would be no side effects but she was unable to lose the weight I researched the issue and a couple of US sites said that dim HELPED. I take this to help me get rid of any excess/harmful estrogen. So I most often take it if there is soy in my food. I notice it helps digest my meals a little faster and more complete. I'm glad that there is CDG added to the formula and that it is in a 1:2 ratio to DIM. I think it works subtly in helping the body process estrogen and perhaps some toxins better. However I've noticed that you must not be deficient in bile otherwise this supplement may not work well. My personal observation is if I start taking this daily my hands get very dry and it feels like the supplement is ineffective.
I purchased this after reading a book stating that DIM helps with acne. I have been taking it for 3 months now and it has worked so well! NO side effects, I am able to take it on an empty stomach and it is intended to eat with small amount of food. No bad taste or smell.
