Numark Mixtrack Pro FX 2 Channel DJ Controller

The features that stand out on this particular machine is its durability light weight and its ability to be a work horse for such a great price point! I purchased 10 of these controllers to teach young teenagers how to DJ. However I used this unit one particular gig when my MC 4000 Denon crashed due to a power surge on my MacBook Pro! One of the staff members Corey Smith a.k.a. DJ C rock jetted to his home picked up this controller brought it to me along with another MacBook and I was able to get through the set flawlessly and it did almost everything that my Denon MC4000 would do... but not disappointing by any means! If you're looking to buy a great started controller/ on a tight budget... GET THIS CONTROLLER!! You won't disappointed!

A Great Starter /Semi Pro Controller

Getting back into DJ'ing after over a decade's break. I'm not wanting to carry around cases of vinyl and I don't have the biggest budget either, so after some research I opted for this.The hardware (so far) feels very well built, however the sound quality could use some improvement. I only use FLAC files and there's some definite compression happening somewhere, I believe it could be the software but have tried 3 with the same "artifacts " being heard I'm wondering if the hardware has a part to play in this too.The microphone input is quite noisy. When the gain gets past the 9 o'clock position, you can hear a "tone" that's caused by interference from the USB Bus.I was hoping this would be ASIO compatible, but it's only WASAPI (windows). This is why I'd say that only beginners or semi pro could use this as taking this out to a live event on a big auditorium stage, with flying J arrays, it WILL sound terrible regardless ofvthe audio files you use.Serato Lite, I'm still assessing. It's taken 2 days so far to try and scan my library as it continues to crash whilest doing so.Please not, I'm an experienced I.T. and Audio professional, so I do not make these comments in haste.

Entry level through Semi Pro controller based on user skills

Got this controller while I wait for my new DDJ 1000srt to arrive. Just using it to record some mixes at home. It is small so fits nicely on a busy desk. There some extra functions that I will need to explore properly for a better rating of this product but I think it is a solid product. Tested only with Serato and it works fine.

Great first DJ controller

Great controller for someone getting started, pretty solid feeling controller and I really like the FX paddles. Serato lite is ok, but I quickly moved on to Virtual DJ which this controller works great with and gives you far greater configurations such as FX and allows you to use the EQ as AI stems separation.Only things I would change - A loop encoder instead of buttons, but the buttons work just fine. Also would be nice to have more than just red LEDs, but these are just my preferences. Overall very happy.

Great value and functionality for the price

What you get for the money is just great.This doesn’t have as many functions as the more expensive decks, but crucially for me, it works out if the box with Serato stems beta.It can also connect ( with an additional adapter ) to your smart phone so you can run a party's music from streaming services on your phone!

Nice little starting controller

Bought this controller to have a laugh with my son mixing. Perfect as a self contained, portable little item no need to hook up to amp/speakers if you don't want to.Light and simple to use.Only downsides are the lack of a separate track reset button, and the software needs an online connection to log you inGood value for money

Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX

You know when you order something and it is even better than you thought it would be? That's where I'm at with this controller. Originally set out for a Pioneer DDJ 400 as I have had one before. It's sole purpose is for Karaoke with Virtual Dj and it works a treat. Quality build, feel and weight. At 229 it's an absolute bargain. DHL did well with the delivery too!

Powerful, Portable, & Affordable

Solid deck from Numark, well-constructed and well-priced. Fantastic for entry level as well as experienced players. Definitely has the feel and function of a powerful, professional unit.

The perfect entry-level controller

I'm not performing gigs, but I do like to DJ as a hobby. The most public performances I do are for my discord server. The jogwheels are responsive, and there are plenty of effects and controlls available to mix up the way u mix. This product is not professional grade, so don't abuse it with everyday use and spilled drinks. but if it's for personal use this thing is perfect. The only hardware I can complain about is that the crossfader isn't magnetic, but I don't really expect that on an entry level controller. The components and hardware are absolutely solid.

Was having a tough choice deciding between this and the new Hercules controller and DDJ400. What swung it in the end was the jog dial display, FX toggle switches and overall build quality in the reviews that I saw. It's a great controller and I'm still working out the best use of all the functions. The previous controller was a DJ Console MK2 which is so dated now by comparison to the new units. I upgraded to Serato Pro as well as I new that not having all the functionality would get annoying after a while, and wanted to record my mixes as well. Still getting to grips with using the loops and switches, but having great fun trying.
