Nyx Professional Makeup Shout Loud Satin Lipstick - Silk

I received this in a Walmart beauty box (more word on that later*) and overall, I do like the lipstick. I received it in the color 'Strength'/SLSL25 shade. Overall, I like that this lipcolor can be built up for good and even color saturation/pigmentation (it may take a few swipes/coats but that's not too unusual amongst lip products, I think). The color they picked for me stood out to me as I did not own a lipstick, lipgloss, or liquid lipstick in this color - and I don't believe I ever have for that matter. Sort of a corally toned medium red if I were to try to describe it, but I will attach some pictures of how it looked on me as well. The texture is slightly waxy, slightly creamy (somewhere in between the two) and I felt it was a little moisturizing when I applied it to my lips - just a bit. It is not a long wear lipstick and will rub off when you eat which I've found to be typical of traditional lipsticks and glosses, which is why I normally prefer longwear liquid lipsticks (I'm thinking Maybelline superstay matte ink ones, specifically worked well). Apart from that, I liked it overall and may wear it for outings and events that are not around mealtime. Worth a try possibly, although maybe in a different shade, if this one does not appeal to you. is absolutely gorgeous. It's a beautiful, satiny smooth lipstick infused with mango and shea butter. You can definitely taste the mango and shea butter, because it has an almost fruity taste to it. This lipstick has a really cute heart bullet shape to it, which I loved. It has very intense, rich color- no matter your skin tone. You get up to 4 hours of moisture with this lipstick with just one swipe, which I feel is pretty impressive. It is very hydrating. The colors of this product are very very pigmented and look absolutely gorgeous on. I have the shade "Red Haute" and traditionally I feel I don't look good in red lipstick, but I absolutely love this shade! I bought this lipstick because I was looking for a budget but good option for a red lipstick for a long time and I found it in Nyx. It gives a nice texture to my lips that I don't feel on my lips, there is no stickiness or unpleasant smell of the product. I love this red color, it doesn't make my teeth yellow and suits any skin tone. It has a slightly creamy finish, not too shiny, I like that. And its cute packaging makes me use it more and more often.

NYX Professional Makeup Shout Loud Satin Lipstick in "Desert Rose" is a stunning shade of pink. The color is perfect for adding a pop of vibrancy to your lips. The satin finish feels smooth and comfortable. However, it may require reapplication throughout the day. Overall, it's a great choice for a bold and beautiful lip color.

Favourite comfortable lipstick for beginners

I’m not the type of person who enjoys ultra long-wearing and matte formulae due to having lips that can become cracked and dry easily. I prep with just lip balm. This formula is my favourite because it’s completely comfortable without me needing to be a total makeup guru with a lip prep routine. It’s not bullet proof, but is comfortable wearing whenever I use it, which is most important to me, and doesn’t transfer too much like many “balmy”/“moisture” lipsticks - I think it’s a good balance. It’s a satin finish, not too shiny, nice and subtle for everyday/workplace wear, and is beautiful with NYX Butter Gloss on top for extra shine too. Great Color Payoff and Comfortable!

I haven't had the best experience with NYX lipsticks but holy moly this formula is the best I've tried in a very long time! It's not overly wet or shiny, it gives just the right amount to leave your lips looking plump and hydrated. The application was extremely smooth and I got almost full opacity with one swipe. I only have to go over my lips once more to get a fully even application ( and that's probably because I have drier lips). The lipsticks smells heavenly and feels comfortable on the lips. The formula is a little thick but a nice thick, not too heavy. It feels almost like a lip mask. The lipstick on the tube feel weighted and high quality!! I will be purchasing another one for sure because I'd love to have this in a darker shade! I really like the sleek design of the all black with a little red heart. I found the lid of this lipstick to stick pretty well, so it shoud be able to survive the test of my purse and not fall off.This product is regularly available at my local Target. I haven't checked Walgreens, Rite Aid, or Walmart yet. But, I am happy to know that it is available in at least one store close by. I find this lipstick to be perfrect for when I perform on stage.The only complaint that I have about this lipstick is that the price is pretty expensive for me. It means that it is harder for me to afford it reularly, since I am of low income.This product is very impressive. I would actually rate this product with a 4.9 out of 5. With the only negative is it's price. However is it worth the price? Yes, without a doubt. This product is definately a really great value for the price.

I miss my lipstick

This lipstick in the sjade opionated is my favourite lipstick. Unfortunetly they don't sell it in sweden anymore so I had to search 4 make up stores for a colour close to this shade. No one makes bold colour like opionated anymore and I will miss it forever once its gone. It's perfect for a rock chick look or is you have been on the hunt for a dark red that doesn't show up as bright red.

Upon receiving this lipstick, it comes in a nice plastic durable black tube with a cute heart on the end that displays the shade it contains. I received the shade Chic and have been wearing it for about two weeks now. When opening the lid, I also noticed the lipstick itself contains two cute hearts engraved on each side! The lid has been great at staying tight on the tube in my purse and not coming off making a mess, which is nice! It applies really easily, creamy and moist feeling but shortly after, makes my lips feel a little sticky! The color payoff is amazingly highly pigmented compared to most other brands I have tried! The color keeps me coming back day after day and looks great wearing in my pictures! Wish the color lasted longer though, it transfers!
