Loved the product but the right controller broke on the second day. Button stayed stuck. Had to pay 70 more dollars to buy another controller because they have no contact number. Very unhappy .

Amazing tech virtual halo deck comes to life

Quick and easy setup oculus nailed it. The new touch controls really bring it to life . After setup I easily got lost in another world for the next 4 hours and did not realize it first words uttered when I put it on Oh My God Wow!!!

Awesome sauce

I'm not into video games much but, the oculus rift is incredible. It's an amazing experience and would recommend everyone at least trying it. Honestly can't play the scary game Because Its so real I got nightmares. It's such a surreal experience and would recommend using with friends and family for more fun. Adults love it as much as kids. Totally new and sweet technology!!

Best upgrade for an Oculus CV1

Can't overstate how much stability having a rear sensor brings to the VR experience. If you've still got the original Oculus headset and only two sensors, this is a must have. Just tested with Half-Life: Alyx and had a great experience.

Case does not fit the product!

The oculus itself is fine, and the stand works fine. The case that they sent does not fit the oculus rift s- it looks like it was made for the older oculus rift.

Great computer

Bought for daughter to play games. It's fast and quiet. Cool red lights. She is happy with it.

Great product, technology isnt quite there

Extremely fun and immersive, however the screen-door effect is fairly noticeable (this thing really needs a 4k screen) also wireless would be a big plus.

Great visual experience a-hole customer service

Once you play a game like robo-recall, elite dangerous, scd - A-10C, a flat screen will never ever suffice. But there supplied software like the video player has no configuration capability to direct it to your movies location or hard drive. The answer from customer service was basically - screw you put your videos on your C: drive and it will work. They need to be responsive to customer requirements. There is no room on my C; drive it is a small SSD like a lot of power users. The multi TB drive is D: this whole thing reminds me of the still frustrating refusal of apple to allow JAVA. Would like the whole experience with everything working.

-It has a higher resolution than the HTC Vive. -It is more comfortable than the HTC Vive (it weighs quite a bit less, which can mean a lot, it's mildly uncomfortable after about 40 minutes or so if you don't get the straps just right, there's no way you could play for prolonged periods of time on the Vive, it'd wreck your face). -It has lower latency than the Gear VR/Google Cardboard (which = more resistant to motion sickness, Oculus is 23ms, whereas Gear VR is 70ms). -It is fully compatible with SteamVR home, whereas the HTC Vive is not compatible with Oculus Home. -This is not VR on your smartphone, this is VR on your PC, your PC likely has much higher processing power than your smartphone does, and with that comes beautiful, smooth graphics. The only thing the Vive can do that this cannot, is about two feet of range (if you plan on crawling around on the floor while playing, this could be an issue for you) and "chaperone mode" which basically just tells you where your stuff is in real life, except in virtual reality so you don't bump into it. However, most games are seated experiences right now, and if you want to move around, you'll want to buy a VR treadmill like Kat Walk VR. Additionally, the Vive does come with motion controllers, Oculus has announced that their controllers will be out before Christmas. Very few games support motion controllers at the moment, and the Oculus Touch will launch with 30 of them. If I had to list any problems, I'd say that the field of view is a little lame at the moment, only taking up about 70% of my active vision range, the resolution could be improved to 4k, and the headset could still weigh just a little less so it's not at all uncomfortable to wear for hours on end. All of these complaints could apply to every headset on the market at the moment though. Overall, if you want a solid, polished headset that just works without tweaking anything, bugfixing, or constantly having to adjust the headset so you don't get a giant red ring on your face from the pressure, buy the Oculus, I've had mine for about a month now and I'm still hooked on it, no regrets or second-thoughts. I did my research before I pre-ordered, and I'm glad I did.

Wow, what a great computer!

Simple to use, easy to set up. Really don't care about the Red lights but hey, it's all good. I'm upgrading my video card so it's not as hard on my CPU and will have it's own 4GB video memory (listen to me, like I'm a pro - I just asked good questions!) so I doubt I'll need to upgrade the memory. I'm also adding a SSD so this thing will be tops. What a good price point what a great little unit for home.
