Olaplex - Lashbond Building Serum - 4.5ml

I'm pretty experienced with lash products and before I get into reviewing Olaplex's, I would like to say that I am VERY glad this doesn't contain prostaglandin analogs. I have used those with good results BUT with irritation so bad that my lashes started to fall out. I'm grateful that Olaplex has chosen a more skin-friendly peptide lash formula!What’s quite unique here is the addition of olaplex’s signature peptide, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate (also in their beloved hair products). This peptide is said to aid in rebuilding broken bonds in the hair as caused by chemical and mechanical damage. That’s not a minor detail in my opinion - our eyelid skin must be healthy to support healthy lashes!As far as my experience: usage is super easy. This is a twice daily formula that you just swipe along the lash line, wait 60 seconds, and continue with your day.One final note would be that as an experienced lash serum user, I will say that I believe it takes around three months to see the full potential of any lash serum. I’m at week two of this now, and while my lashes look and feel a bit more healthy, I know from experience to wait longer for the full impact!

Unfortunately that does not give me enough time to see results, but I can give a quick review of my experience so far. I have used two other lash serums and they do truly work, so I have no doubt that this Olaplex serum will do the same. It does work with consistent use!

It was pretty simple to use and didn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. My tips: make sure to apply on clean, dry lashes and wait about 2mins for it to fully dry before applying any other eye products. I used this for 2 weeks (2x a day) to test it out and leave my review. After using it for 1 week, my lashes shed way less and by 2nd week looked healthier and I started noticing a little growth! Remember, with any lash growing serum consistency is key!! I have only used the product twice so far, once last night and once this morning. It has a similar applicator to the Grande Lash, the thin little brush for precise application. My natural lashes are not great but not terrible. They’re definitely shorter than I’d like them to be and less full than I’d like them - which I’m hoping this product aids in. While I cannot speak on my initial results after 2 weeks of use, I’ll tell you what I can. The product has not irritates my eyes thus far which I am very happy with, and it did not feel like any of the liquid was dripping down into my eyes. I got this Olaplex Lashbond as a gift from a brand, so far I have been using it for exactly 13 days twice daily and I can definitely see the difference. But you have to be consistent with it and not skip any days. My lashes are looking thicker and the end lashes are looking longer(like eyelash curler effect). My lashes used to be very straight and very very thin, they would fall of daily as well. After about 6 days into using this lashbond i definitely started seeing the difference. The brush is very easy to use and applies the product on lashes easily, I usually keep my eyes closed for about a minute after applying. The bottle is very compact so im able to bring it with me in my purse everywhere I go since I use it twice daily.
