I have a Samsung tv 3yrs old and from day 1 the remote has been a bit hit and miss im pressing buttons and nothing seems to be happening like its not connecting with the sensor properly. from what ive read on the internet this seems to be a known problem for the model i have. I decided to get this remote as it is similar size and shape to the original one and i can do up to 4 devices. the instructions are easy enough to follow, i had to have a couple of goes to get it right but it was easy to do. i dont seem to get this it does work it doesnt work when i press the buttons. it works 1st time so all in all very pleased

Easy to set up and it works well. My only suggestion for improvement is where the buttons are placed. It is a long remote and many functions are right up the top and then right down the bottom. It would be great if pause and fast forward / back buttons where a little larger for use at night time.

This really does what it says it will do. Fantastic little device. However, it is really worth taking the time to go to the manufacturer’s website before purchasing. They have an excellent online tool to establish which model will work with your machines.
Took a while to work out how to configure it to work with my TV. TV has to be turned on and working which was tricky as the original remote control was not working. Had to find out how to use the built in controls hidden on the back/top of the TV! After that configuring the remote was easy.
TV, Set-Top Box and surround sound amp all operated perfectly on this remote control with just the default setup. Only one key for my Humax Freeview Box had to be added manually but it was very easy to 'copy' the signal from the original remote onto one of the keys on this remote control. Once set up this is a dream to use and means I can do everything easily from the one remote. The controller feels good in the hand. Very solid and the buttons have a good feel.
We have a topflield and Samsung. Was not sure but harmony has died. Actually better than that harmony. Read the manual and you will be fine. Then added the Yamaha stereo. Too easy?
Pros: The remote control looks good and it's easy to handle. It doesn't have a red bulb at the front because the infrared can go through the casing which makes the remote look smarter. It has a good set of buttons and you can set the keys to do anything you want,- for example a number key can be changed to turn the TV on. It replaces all my remotes so I have less clutter. Cons: The remote control can be a bit difficult to set up, and it can be a bit tedious to change the function keys using the magic key. It can be easy to forget the function key you have changed when you have changed a particular key. When I change the remote to control one device from another, I have to remember to set a button on the remote to that device first which can be a bit confusing at times.
This remote replaces the remote that came with the TV, but stopped working after many years, and I can only get my old remote to do the odd function and then it stops again. There is a few functions that my original remote did, that I have not managed to do on the Evolve, but that could be me and not the remote. I could not get it to do subtitles, but have managed to switch this on with my original remote, before it stopped again. Bought this to replace the tiny remote that came with my Samsung TV. It was a bit of hassle to pair with the TV, but it works well and solved the problem of the tiny, hard to use remote which was difficult to use. It is missing the Apps buttons for Netflix and other apps, which is a bit of a pain, but overall it is good and glad I bought it.
