These scales are perfect really. It’s a beautiful addition to my kitchen. Buttons are simple and self-explanatory and the duel scale is actually more useful than I imagined. Auto-shut off is not too short as per my previous set, so no more frantic running around the kitchen trying to find more flour for the recipe before it shut off, like some cruel TV game show. A little pricy, but actually I feel they are worth the money. Would recommend

I bought this as the small scale with the large is perfect for measuring quickly and get to cooking, however.The small scale is near worthless, you can put a lightweight cup on, put say salt and get a reading, then lift off and on 3 times and get 3 totally different readings!Larger scale is better and is more consistent in readings.As I write this I wonder why I am keeping it but it is probably too late to return it now.

The scale is not quite what I expected for the money. I do like the smaller scale that I can measure yeast with. I like the flat design. I would point out a couple things to improve. The weight mechanism is not vet responsive. It can take 1-2 seconds to get the correct reading. This makes it difficult when pouring in ingredients, many of which are difficult to remove if I over pour. Second it would be nice if the scale platform could be removed. There is no way to clean under it if something spills. That’s not very sanitary.

Bought this scale after my existing food scale bit the dust. The existing scale did not measure low enough for yeast so I had to use two scales. The Ooni one is a two for one scale that I use almost daily for more than just pizza. It works great and now I only need one scale and it uses AAA batteries which I usually always have on hand. My old scale used 9 volt batteries that I don't normally have a lot of on hand. Love it.
At first the item seemed fine. However after a few weeks, I made a batch of dough and the consistency was way off. I knoew it wasn;t the flour since it comes in 1 kg bags and i use the whole bag in the recipe. I took out a new 1 kg bag and weighed it 7 times. I got anywhere from 950 g to 720 g. No where near accurate or precise. Depending on where on the platform I put the item, the weight varies significantly. Not acceptable for recipes where you measure your ingredients.Ooni was great and offeren replacement or refund. I took the refund, as I just cannot trust that this scale will be accurate. What's the point of getting a new scale if I have to weight it on another scale to verify the weight.
I have had a digital scale for a few years. I debated on getting a new one for additional features. There cheap ones on Amazon, there were reasonable priced ones at Target, and this one on Ooni. I ended up purchasing one from each location and giving them all a try. Based on my experience and comparison Ooni nailed this one. The accuracy was better than the other two. The ease of usage was about the same, but the second little scale differentiated itself from the others. Love this scale. The ingredients weighed are spot on and the end result is just that much better. I highly recommend this scale.
Easy to use and nice to have the two scales in one. The screens are clear and the measurements seem accurate. The quality of the item is high. Much better than the digital scales I had before. The plate for the flour etc is big enough to measure a lot of flour. And the cover for the 0.1g scale cover nicely converts into a little holder for the yeast. Would highly recommend. The price does come at a premium but with the two scales built in one and the quality of the product. It’s worth it in my opinion.

By far my favorite Ooni product (I traded my Koda in for a Roccbox, and the Ooni IR thermometer, while nice and initially accurate, misreads by 20 degrees after lasering over a hot surface).So convenient to have a dual scale, and I love how the scale is programmed so when you turn over and use the included micro scale cup/lid, the scale recognizes it and automatically tares to 0.What is not great about this scale involves the most minute of measurements on the micro scale portion. It just won’t recognize .1 grams. And I’ve tried! My work around is to measure the yeast out to .2 grams, and then only use half the measured amount. Not ideal, but it works. At this price point.
