Opti Free PureMoist Economy Pack

I have been using this solution for like over ten years.Something happened as I gad bought several bottles and some smelled like mikdew yet the expiration date was good After that ,my eyes started getting ref even though i bought newer bottles. I even bought a more recent bottle after I had taken a break fir a month and same issue! There is something wrong with thys solution. I have been to two eye doctirs who told ne my eyes were irritated We switched to dailys and while its made a difference I have to wonder what damage was done to my eyes. This needs recalled.The replenish line also had issues and it was recalled and there is a lawsuit on that one.If you devide to use thus solution be careful. I have been using this contact solution for a year now, and it is worth your money. Personally if you have a costco near you, I recommend getting the two pack with two contact containers. This solution makes my eyes feel comfortable with my contacts on. it is a multipurpose solution, cleans, rinses, disinfect, and stores. This solution is for silicone hydrogel and soft contact lenses. I have the 14 oz and it always lasts for two months. If I were to recommend a contact solution for newbies, I would recommend opti-free puremoist for sure 🤭

More often than not, I can count on getting my contact solution at Walgreens on sale! The Opti-Free Pure Moist formula works so well that after soaking and sterilizing overnight, I feel like I'm using a fresh pair the next morning! Not only do they do a great job cleaning and hydrating my contacts, but the comfort holds up all day! I've honestly forgotten it was time to crack open a fresh, mew pair of contacts because this formula works that good!

Do not buy!!! Needs a recall.

The first one smelled and my eyes starting getting dry. So i the it away and opened the other bottle too. it smelled and i thought it must just be a new formula. So I used it until my eyes were red for a month and getting even more dry. my eye doctor told me to change solution and within a week it's a ton better. They have screwed something up at the factory. I looked online and a bunch of people have complained of the same thing and the bottles all have expiration dates of 2025. So DO NOT BUY UNTIL THEY FIX WHAT THEY MESSED UP! Great but better elsewhere

I thoroughly like the PureMoist contact solution. It works much better than the Replenish and the 20oz bottles last me at least 2 months of regular use. It disinfects well and keeps my contacts moist throughout the whole day. However, the price has drastically jumped at CVS. Just over a year ago I was able to purchase the 2 pack for $17 now it’s at $22. You can find this exact product at the other large chain/online retailers for $17. I would recommend this product, just not from here unfortunately especially if you are price conscious.

Great size and convenient for travel!

This isn’t the contact cleaning solution I normally use but it’s often recommended so I felt safe using it. Since you can buy it in 2 oz bottles that meets airline guidelines, I decided to try it for the length of time I’d be traveling. That way I’d know if there was enough solution for 5 days and if my eyes tolerated it. There was and they did plus it works for rinsing so no saline needed! This is my new travel all around contact solution! Kit comes with contact holder too.

Horrible Smell

I have been buying this brand for years. About a month ago I started smelling a funky smell in my bathroom sink.Tried drano, enzymes and vinegar but the smell kept coming back.Had open a new bottle of Opti Free and spilled some on my hand and realized where the horrible smell was coming from.I googled it and other people have been complaining about a foul odor.I called Alcon and it should not smell. They want me to send back and they will send replacements. But the product needs to be recalled.I went to my cvs and there was more on the shelf with the same lot number but not sure if they will do anything. And based on what I found online, people have been complaining about different lot numbers.Now I am worried about my eyes since I was using the funky ... MoreI have been buying this brand for years. My number one solution

Great stuff. I’ve used a few deferent brands and types of contact lens solution. Some bottles have bad nozzles, some feel rough in the eyes, some smell a bit strange or strong. But this one is the stuff. Beautiful laminar flow out of the nozzle, very light and comfortable on my eyes, and doesn’t have any strange smells. The bottle cap design is also very sturdy, and I’m never worried about it cracking when I try to shut it. I live in a dorm and carry it back-and-forth from the sink in a toiletry bag. It swings around in the bag while laying sideways or upside down and it never leaks. It’s a bit more expensive. But you get what you pay for.

The only brand I will use

Opti-free is one of the few brand name products I will only buy. I was told by the optometrist many years ago to only use Opti-free and he was 100% correct. I tried the generic version ONCE. I realize that many generics are the old formulas of previous products, including Opti-free, but there are still minor changes. The generic version burned a little, so sadly, it was thrown away and I immediately had to buy Opti-free. It doesn’t matter which specific kind, to me anyway, so I get the 2 pack, which saves some money. It’s very tempting to deal with the burning to save a few dollars, but in the end it’s not worth it. Spend the extra money, it’s your sight, not frozen vegetables!
