This tastes awful. I couldn’t get past a few sips before chucking down the drain. I haven’t used this product before and was keen to use it but I’ve wasted more than $40. Maybe purchase a sample if available before spending the money on this. A low cal homemade shake with protein powder and a couple fruits thrown into a blender is a much better than this.

After having to have a total gastrectomy and other complications of losing most of my small intestine, l have to live on either pured food, soups or Optifast shakes which have the right balance of nutrients. I found out of all the Optifast flavours, the coffee is the nicest even though l am not usually a coffee person. The flavour is not overpowering, not sickly sweet but just right. And unlike the other flavours it doesnt give me any dumping which is a horrible side effect most sweet products can give those who have had a TG. It has also kept me from losing weight too fast as l have to have 5 a day, so you can imagine how many boxes l need to buy to survive.

These are delicious. It’s so hard finding a high protein product that doesn’t taste like protein powder. These taste like a McD’s milkshake without the guilt! And they work. Down 2kg by the end of week 1. (2 shakes, 1 optifast bar and a salad/meat dinner) each day.

This is probably the best shake there is on the market. It tastes delicious and it is great to add other healthy ingredients. I like that you mix water with it rather than milk and the sweetener is not artificial.
I initially started using Optifast prior to having gastric banding. The surgeon suggested it one month prior to the surgery. It not only decreased my appetite but it gave me an edge to the beginnings of losing weight. I lost 6kg in the first month on Optifast. My favourite flavour being the Coffee one.I went on to lose another 30kg with the Lap Band over the following 6 months. Yes this included a lot of exercise, but that was mainly walking.I have tried other brands of ‘shakes’ but I always come back to Optifast (and especially the coffee flavoured one).
Always satisfied with this optifast protein shake. Extremely filling and nutritional. Keeps you satisfied for a long period. I would highly recommend these shakes.
Love, love, love this Optifast shake flavour. Made with ice and 200mls of ice cold water, then blended it turns out almost like a iced coffee. I actually enjoy having this shake and could happily drink more. If you are a coffee addict, add a teaspoon of instant coffee to the mix before blending for extra oomph. There may be cheaper weight loss shakes around but I have found Optifast to be the best taste wise and nutrition wise. Highly recommend Optifast. Almost 80 kilos lighter since I started just over 11 months ago.
I have been using these on and off for the past 5 years. I brought caramel the last time and it took me a while to get through them. So I decided to buy the strawberry this time it seems to be the pick of the flavours. Not too strong or over powering.Very pleasant taste.
Tastes soo good, not powdery. Vanilla and Choc taste like milkshakes. Mocha and Coffee, well like a iced mocha and coffee. Only replaced lunch because im italian and need to eat. Four kilos down in three weeks!
