I was looking to buy a power blender and was considering to purchase a Vita Mix, but it is incredibly expensive! I saw the Optimum 9400 and after reading all the specs and saw THE PRICE, I didn't notice any difference with the other product, so I went ahead to buy it. I am pleasantly surprised with the Optimum 9400 blending ability! And the noise reduction cover! Especially useful.as I live in an apartment and don't want to wake up my whole building, when I juice in the morning. This product does exactly as it promises; it blasts through ice and blends everything perfectly. I'm so happy I did not waste my money on a more expensive brand. This product is amazing. I have used Nutribullet for years and still have one that works fine. The only reason I moved across is that they no longer make the blades for my model. I will never bother with a Nurtibullet again. I was going to buy a Vitamix but then saw the Optimum 9400X was a fraction of the price and had a money-back guarantee. I thought I would give it a try and return it if it was no good. Im so glad I tried it out. It is amazing !! Try it yourself, you have nothing to lose.

I think I've had this blender for 10+ years and the old jug had completely eroded, cloudy and was leaking.The new jug makes it feel like a new blender, it blends way better and the ingredients circulate much better making a much more efficient and consistent blend. It's nice and wide and clear too which makes it easier to work with. And seems very high quality. Really feels like a new blender, amazing to be able to get the part and make such an old product feel like new again. Been using this pretty much everyday.

I appreciate the benefits of programmed settings (and tried the default programs after watching a video demonstration online) but found the defaults impractical for my personal requirements. The 9400X was not my first choice when looking to replace my 9400 (1st Gen) but was offered as an upgrade during checkout.I did read the 9400X User Manual before the first use but was initially confused by the explanation it offered for using Manual Modes. When I emailed Froothie to clarify how to use the manual function to achieve the same speed and result as my faithful 9400 (1st Gen), they provided no practical advice and merely asked what ingredients I was using in my smoothie (the same ingredients I had been using for years). I complied with their request despite feeling their question was a bit irrelevant and possibly an effort to gather information for a recipe guide. I received no further correspondence or assistance from Froothie Support. With persistence, I eventually figured out how to use the 9400X manually myself. Re-reading the User Manual, it seems clearer retrospectively.So far, I am happy with the Optimum 9400X and hope to get as many years from this machine as the Optimum 9400 (1st Gen), though I have not tried the 9400X with a protein ball mix or with frozen ingredients, so I cannot comment on that aspect of its performance as yet.The warranty registration link on the Froothie website did not work for me but I found a warranty registration link through a Google Search. This is an extremely powerful blender, great design and so easy to use. The cover definitely helps keep noise down. I’m so happy that we are able to make our own flours and use this to even make bread. So easy to clean, takes a couple of minutes! Looks good on our bench too. Looking forward to making more and more things with this. Smoothies soup flour dips juices coffee beans. Extremely versatile. Thank you!
1) Used in the morning to blend MCT oil and ghee with my tea2) Used for the daily smoothie; I like the wide base of the jug which helps all the ingredients mix together without getting stuck3) Used also to make freezable protein bars; nut butter and protein powder blends up super easily with a few other bits and piecesThe only limitation is my imagination :)Great product - I really found that I like the digital speed control and timers over the previous model, which was all manual and one-speed.Oh! And of course I bought it with the noise guard.... such a game changer. Very quiet operation!
Unpacked, followed instruction for cleaning both before use and after each use (made a fruit smoothie with ice, twice a day) at the end of the first week rust is appearing between top and bottom blades. Surprising given the cost of these blenders. My old sunbeam never showed signs of rust in it 10 years of use. The blender does the job, it did jam initially on one occasion when ice cubes fell to the bottom of the jug but a quick pulse fixed this. I have had little use to date, but given the cost and corrosion occurring in spite of cleaning and drying I cannot give it higher than 3 stars.
This machine is used for commercial use in a cafe and it is a fantastic addition to our equipment. I have saved $2000 as I nearly purchased another commercial blender but after much research decided to go with the Optimum 9400X with a sound proof cover, I'm certainly not disappointed as this machine is superb! It's powerful, easy to clean, looks great & well made. I would recommend this machine to anyone for commercial or home use, it certainly has my tick of approval, thank you Froothie!
Our old blender was the OG 9400 and has lasted us 10 years and we thought it was time for an upgrade. Well the craftmanship and upgraded design from the 9400 to the 9400X is massive. With sleek lines and the vortex bottom making cleaning easier and also helping mix those stubborn piece through the blender. The Sound lid that we brought with the blender reduces the noise and also makes the blender look so up-market. Our last blender lasted over 10 years and has been passed down to our daughter and is still going strong and we hope to get the same amount of time out of this machine. They truly are built to last and not part of the throw away society.
Do not waste your money on this worthless thing. It can’t even blend a smoothie smooth. A blender with 700 watt makes a better smoothie. I am a longtime user of power blenders and this one is not user friendly it is very sensitive and in my experience goes fast but does not blend well at all. Not at all what I had hoped for in a blender. After being pushed to keep it and try it for 30 days I am completely unsatisfied. I wanted to return it before even using it. Now they are being difficult they try to discourage returning first by the shipping cost being left for the buyer and the weight and size of this thing the shipping is expensive then they give you these warnings about them having to clean it costing another 80€.
