My pug Hank is ageing and with age has come poor mobility. He has slowed down and sometimes walks with a limp (which has been checked by the vet). Since using this food he has definitely improved with his mobility. He used to struggle to get up the stairs and onto the lounge and beds. He now had more confidence to tackle stairs and jumps onto the bed and lounge. He’s not the spritely pup he once was but definitely moving a bit better. We will definitely repurchase.

The fur baby was impressed with the Optimum Pro dry food product. The kibble was a good size for little mouths, smelt amazing and was inticing to the fur baby because she took to it immediately. Dry food serves as an optional feed for her, as in it is placed in a small bowl and left out with her water, where she can snack if she feels the need, but we have found her adding the kibble to her nightly feed of chicken and veg. I’ve been giving my dog this kibble for the last 8 weeks. He is certainly enjoying it (he can be a bit fussy with kibble). I mix it with some cooked chicken. My dog is a cavoodle, 10yrs old. Certainly slowing down as he gets older but still healthy. He doesn’t have any joint issues so I can’t comment as to whether this area has improved but I feel that this is a good product to maintain his healthy joints which becomes so important as they age. I would definitely purchase this and give him ongoing.

We gave this food to our 5 year old Jack Russell x Dachshund. We started by mixing the food with his existing food, increasing the ratio of the Optimum Pro with each feed. Initially our dog was a little apprehensive to try something new however he quickly got used to it and liked it just as much if not more than his existing food. I would recommend this product to other people as it is a premium alternative and our dog enjoyed the food and the size of the kibble is smaller than alternate brands which makes it easier to chew and digest particularly for smaller dogs.

My dog is not that fussy an eater, so he did not need any adjustment period for the Optimum food. His meal was eaten in no more than two minutes every day so the taste is good.Prior to using this, he was eating the high end product - a type purchased from vets. He is 13 years old and easily completes 45 -60 minute walk each day, his mobility is very good The only noticable difference was a slight increase in solid waste output from the dog. Which given the price difference appears to be a very good trade off and is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Will buy this product.
I am always skeptical when it comes to these foods that promote specific things, like mobility health or gastrointestinal heath, or various other types of specialty foods. However, it appears that I need to rethink this. Since giving my little old girl, 16 years old, this food, she has been finding it easier to get out of bed in the mornings and seems to be moving a little easier in general. She seems to like the taste too as she gets very excited when it's dinner time ! Overall I think this is a good product and it's been great for the old girl. Recommend.
