Thanks to Bzzagent, I was gifted this Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Hydrating Mask in exchange for my honest review. This is a mask I can see myself using for years to come and I actually have already been using for years as it is! I use it in addition to my normal moisturizer, although I am seeing most people substitute it in place of. On nights I use this mask, I go about my normal skin routine as usual, and then immediately before bed, I mean literally right before I get into the bed, I apply this mask, which is typically about an hour or 2 after I've applied my usual moisturizer, that way it's had time to absorb and the mask can do its job. All-Purpose Awesomeness: Mask, Hand Cream, & Moisturizer

I use this mask after the Original Skin mask once a week or so, and the combo makes my skin glow and feel soft and smooth---my husband even noticed a difference!Not only is this a great face mask (and it smells SO good) but it's the best hand cream I've found! I cook a lot and have a bunch of animals, so I wash my hands about 1000 times a day. I use a little of this mask on my hands before bedtime as needed and it keeps them soft and smooth. No more dry and chapped hands for me! Oh, and I also use a very thin layer as my daily moisturizer on the coldest winter days. Makes a big difference!

Disappointed! ingredients changed!

My face had a bad reaction. I had redness, rashes and a bit of swelling. I've been using this product for years! So for me to have a reaction shook me!Why? Why would you change the ingredients. I'm the old formula the most prominent ingredients and the first Ingredients were Aqua, rose water, myrtle water, orange water, chamomile, glycerin, ethyl alcohol...Now the new formula reads aqua, glycerin, ethyl alcohol, then all the flower/fruit watersSo basically you put more alcohols and minimize the natural ingredientsI was upset that the size went from 3.4 to 2.5 yet the price was more. I was willing to pay it if the ingredients were the same. Bad move, Origins!

Effective but caused breakout!

Good things come to those who wait? Yeh I'm not so sure about that anymore. The small GWP tube I had of this has been in the group of samples I've been trying to work through since mid last year. Now that I finally get round to using it (Tuesday night and Thursday night gone) I've come out in acne along my lower cheeks/jawline, more so the right side. The hydrating effect is there but not as good as other overnight masks, for example PC Hydrating Recovery Mask is a lot better at putting moisture back into my skin. However what PC doesn't do is brighten. Origins really gives you such a nice glow, like when you've used a good Vitamin C serum, and is kind of what I expected from seeing all the brightening ingredients in it (and why I was so impatient to use it lol). ... MoreGood things come to those who wait? Great for dry oily skin

This is my favorite face mask ever. I have oily, dry, and sensitive skin, and I live in a dry climate too, so I need something that does a good job at oil control but is also not too light, because light moisturizers tend to make my skin peel. Ever since I started using this mask my face become much smoother. No more excessive oil at the end of the day, and no more peeling skin. Never had rash or allergy from it either (I'm pretty prone to it). And what's even better is that I think I'm getting fewer acnes than before. It feels comfortable, smells good, and the truth is I've almost been using it as a daily moisturizer because I don't have to rinse it off. So convenient!

Not Hydrating

I have fair dry skin that in the winter can end up peeling. I was hoping this overnight mask would provide the deep hydration my skin needs. At first I tried it on its own to make sure my sensitive skin could tolerate the ingredients. No negative reactions, but i woke up with tight dry skin. The next night I added a hydrating serum underneath. It helped a little. The following night I added my regular moisturizer and the serum to the mask and results were better, but not worth the trouble. I'm glad I purchased an Origins sampler kit instead of buying the full-size.

Mega hydrating! Especially for dry skin girlies like me. If you're looking for a nice overnight mask, this may be for you. I was told by my dermatologist to add in 1-2 face masks a week into my routine and what better way to incorporate a product that does double the work in hydrating your skin overnight.✨ After cleansing your face apply this mask and let the magic work while you get that precious beauty sleep you oh, so deserve! Don't be surprised when you wake up the next morning with plumped skin with a side of glow! ✨DISCLAIMER : The scent isn't terrible, but if you're not a fan of Avocado this may not be for you!

Sooo nice

I had a travel size in a gift pack that lasted forever & I lived it, so I got the full size! The price seems steep, but a little of this product goes such a long way, and I don't think this should be used nightly anyways. I have very sensitive & oily skin, but I have no issues with this & if anything it helps my skin be a little less oily bc it's so moisturizing! I tend to use if after The Ordinary red peel & it's so calming and cool feeling on the face. Love this product so much, smell is only really a factor when you're applying. And the greasy look can be avoided by not using too much product, but also it's not a genuine negative as this product is best for overnight use.

i do want to love this but i don't. first, it claims as an intensive hydration mask, but i don't feel the hydration at all. hyaluronic acid works better than this mask. second, i hate the tacky texture on my skin. maybe this mask works better for people in cold country and not for people in humid country. third, the avocado scent is overwhelming and i do hate scented skincare.fourth, overpriced. BUT, it never breaks out my skin. so yeah...that's the only good thing i can say about this mask.

saved my sunburnt skin

I have had this mask/moisturizer for years and always thought it was just OK until the last few days. I accidentally got the worst sunburn on my face that I’ve ever had. My face was painful, borderline ready to blister. I applied layer after layer of my regular Tatcha moisturizer to no avail. Finally I dig out my Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Hydrating Mask and applied a thick layer, then fell asleep. I woke up with my face fully healed and moisturized. The red sunburn tint was gone, my painful skin was gone. This saved and soothed my skin. This still probably won’t be my go-to every night moisturizer, but it saved my sensitive skin when I needed something beyond my regular moisturizer, so I’ll be keeping this product around.
