Love Ortiz canned seafood products and the White Bonito tuna is no exception. It’s probably my favorite premium canned tuna for the price. I usually just eat it right out of the tin. I’m sure it would make an excellent tuna salad or as an ingredient in a recipe but that would almost be a waste. Use regular canned tuna for that. For fans of canned tuna the Ortiz is good all on it’s own and at the price it’s actually not to bad value-wise

I must say, embarrassingly, that I do not eat sushi or fresh tuna...for a well-versed cook, It is quite amazing that I only eat canned tuna....now I have found the BEST!Ortiz solid white is delicious. The white fish is packed in Spain in tasty Spanish olive oil....a salad with celery, kalamata olives and lettuce brings you to heaven instantly. Try it. Your tuna salad days will become memorable! “Sorry Charlie...” Ortiz tuna is simply the best. If you’ve never experienced it before, ignore the price and treat yourself. Tuna Nicoise a la Starkist will forever be a distant memory...
It's the best tinned tuna there is. I buy it for my ten-year old nephew, who savors it in a salad or just as it is. If a little kid goes for fish out of a can, what more need be said about "quality?"
They say that great things come in small packages and that is certainly the case with this product. I plan to use it in a casserole and ended up eating it directly out of the container because I couldn’t stop myself!

This oil packed tuna has better texture and flavor than any of the typical grocery store brands. It us especially worth the upgrade when the tuna will be from and center (e.g., salade nicoise).

I was so annoyed at myself for not ordering 12 after I tasted this tuna. I’ve never tasted anything like it ..And now I actually find myself panicking a little when I don’t have an extra can on my shelf ...I cannot recommend it enough. It is absolutely delicious. Especially if you live alone and you just want to come home and open a can of tuna and have some crackers with it. I leave you ... MoreOK I will admit it. Succulent tuna with a richness missing from most store brands. I crumble it into a salad for a very tasty protein boost. Well worth the cost.
