I already had one of these containers and was so impressed with the lid design and open/close system, that I ordered a second. Unfortunately, this arrived with a long split down the curved front side. I immediately called Robert Dyas who arranged for a replacement to arrive the next day.So good service rescues a rare product fault.

When I took it out of the box, it's base was cracked. I'm guessing this type of plastic they use which is similar to acrylic can be quite fragile. They look really good though, and it's crystal clear you can see the contents at a glance. My House customer service is top-notch, I sent in an enquiry about the damage and they sent me a new one with no issues.

The Clear Food Dispenser Containers are shaped very similar to the Cereal Containers. They both have pour spouts, but Dispensers are listed by ounce(25.6, 38.4, 51.2 oz), not quart(2.5,3.4,4.5 qt) like the much larger Cereal Containers. I bought the largest size Dispenser(51.2 oz) to use for my smallest cereal box because the smallest size Cereal Container (2.5 QT) was much too large. However, I think the prices for the Dispensers are too high in relation to other Oxo containers so I only bought one, opting to use other containers for what I might have put in the medium & smaller Dispensers.
Great for kids cereal. Easy to open and close. Keeps food fresh. Fits easily in my cupboard. A little pricey, but I would buy it again.
I bought this to keep snacks and crackers fresh. No more half full boxes of stale crackers. Easy to see, easy to pour and easy to clean. So happy I bought two more!
I bought this and the next size down and they are very small. For this ‘large’ container you’d struggle to fit even half a box of cereal. They looked nice but needed to be atleast twice the size to be worth the money and fit for anything other than nuts or macaroni shells.
It took me a while to get the perfect containers for rice, sugar, etc., but I finally found them. These containers are just tall enough, and they are narrow enough to be easy to hold (they also have an indentation for that purpose) and to make good use of the cupboard space.
The Good Grip Feature is what sets these containers apart from the rest. Yes they do cost more, however in my opinion their worth it.CheersRon
I have OXO products before this purchase and love all their products. I have had great luck with everything they make and will be making more purchases. I need the bigger dispensers now. Things I've put in these containers so far are goldfish, cheez its, cheetos, cereal (but this one is small for cereal in our house), Graham cracker Scooby bones, Soup & Oyster crackers, etc.
