OXO Good Grips - Easy-Clean Compost Bin White

With the holes on the both sides of upper middle makes the bag securely placed in the bin. Surprisingly, no strong stinky smell even the kitchen scraps stay overnight. It is over price but still better offer then others when it is running a promotion. Concerning I will use it everyday. It is fine.

Nice simple design. Fits Biosak Compostable Bin Liners (11.36 L/3 gallons) from Costco. A nice feature is that there are holes for you to tuck the excess compost bag around the lip so that the bag is taught around the rim.I went from using a compost bag each day to changing it every e days with this larger container.

Good but not perfect

The standard size OXO caddy is great, I bought this because I needed a larger version. It's the same quality and robustness as the standard caddy. However it is designed to take a bag, so the top/lid detaches (around the grey line in the picture). The groove in the top section tends to accumulate waste and debris, which is hard to remove and clean. Other than that - good product.

Good compost bin

I ordered this bin after having a prior bin with a charcoal filter (but the filter kept falling out).This bin has been great, it has a little section to hold your compostable bags if you use them so they don’t fall down the bin, have not had any trouble with smells and it is easy to clean.Only taking one star off as it got heavily stained in the first week even though fruit had only been in there a couple of days and there was also a compostable bag used.If our bin broke I would repurchase this bin (note I bought this on sale and would not pay full price)

Great purchase and exceeded expectations

A perfect replacement compost bin for one given by our city’s green waste pickup service. This pail is clean looking, minimalist and importantly, opens with one hand. Looks attractive but unobtrusive on my counter. I like it so much!!

Kitchen top compost bin

This is the best compost bin I've bought. Previously I've had problems with metal bins rusting and smelling bad, so I bought this one for a change. It holds a lot, so it doesn't need emptying out so much, and the flip top lid stops odours from escaping. Also, the little green compostable bin liners fit inside it perfectly.

Perfect size + sturdy

I live in an apartment so I really appreciate the size of this container -- it's small enough to fit under my kitchen sink and large enough for me to not have to take it out on a daily basis.The compost bag stays in place due to the two holes near the lip of the bin and the lid also helps it stay in place. Probably my favorite feature!There is some faint staining on the bottom of the bin (likely due to me not taking out my compost often enough). I clean it out with vinegar + baking soda weekly and most of the gunk comes out super easy. If you don't like the idea of staining, I'd say don't go with the white.I highly recommend it!

Perfect size. Excellent functionality.

Well made, perfectly sized way to collect garbage for deposit in garden waste for collection. This is what West Valley Recycling (northern CA, USA) SHOULD have distributed for scrap collection. Those of us with nowhere to do composting need this. Pair with 3 gallon compostable bags which will stay put in this design.

Poor seal, smell filters through

SO disappointed with this product; thought with the design that includes a wrap around collar for the eco friendly garbage bags to fold over that this would have a really tight seal. I have it completely thoroughly closed and the smell just wafts out. Not one of OXO'x finest products

Really useful kitchen food waste container

Good value for money. Looks good in kitchen. Fairly large capacity. No silicon seal to go mouldy. No metal to go rusty. Great product. So easy to clean. Would recommend.
