These scissors are priced higher than others that Target carries and they are extremely annoying. They come apart extremely easy and not when you want them to come apart. I appreciate they are red so they’re easily seen and if I wanted them to come apart, I got it. But when they come apart when I’m using them, annoying. I’m still going to use them cuz I’m a little stuck at this point, but just be aware. They come apart when cleaning.

I love these scissors - I keep buying more because for some reason I seem to need scissors in every room of the house and the garage. They are sharp, feel good in hand, cut cleanly and come apart for easy cleaning. They hold the sharpness, but when needed they also sharpen well. This is the quaity I expect from OXO.

These scissors are awesome. I got these to replace my cuisanart kitchen shears that came with my knives which got dull and rusty. The difference is like night and day! I love that these come apart for easy washing and they are very sharp and provide a nice clean cut. I use kitchen shears a lot on my meats to cut off the fat and these work wonders.

I usually use this OXO kitchen shears without any problem when prepping food and do kitchen related tasks. Today, it was an eye opening experience for me to use it for a task it was not designed to do - cutting through a thick layer of rug pad (1/4” thick). It beat my fabric and utility scissors, and cut the rug pad so easily. Would totally recommend it to anyone who are in need of a pair of versatile scissors.
Oxo Softworks generally make great products however these scissors are a spectacular fail. They're so pathetic that cutting all but the thinnest item means that they immediately fall apart. I've repaired them several times but suspect that very soon they'll end up in the bin. Utter waste of money.
I don't think that I have unusually small hands but I find these scissors unusable due to their size. I can't get a grip with my thumb inside so can't open or close the scissors. Such a shame as they're razor sharp and I love the way they come apart for cleaning. Hubby will use them now so not a total disaster but will need to find a more suitable set for me.
I all ready had some of these for the kitchen, they were so good, my husband wanted some to use in his shed. We are both very happy with these scissors. Nice and sharp, take apart for cleaning. PERFECT.
Bought these for harvesting herbs and they work great. Super sharp and easy to clean. While I like that the blades come apart, I have found that they release too easily- sometimes they'll just fall apart because I happened to open the scissors too wide. Not a huge issue, but something to be aware of.
OK, so I bought these scissors chiefly because of the red handles: easy to find in the cutlery drawer, but you know what? They're great. Very sharp, easy to clean, just what you need for kitchen prep. Also, worth mentioning that they were considerably cheaper than other retailers.
Exactly what I want out of kitchen scissors. Multi-functional - I use them mostly for cutting up raw chicken and beef but they also cut herbs, pizza, you name it. Easy to grip, easy to use, they cut securely but come apart easily for cleaning.
