The recent design change did a disservice to OXO. I was very disappointed when I bought this set recently. The lids don’t pop up as far making it very difficult to grasp and remove it. I hope they bring back the old design. I checked the OXO web site and it is slammed with similar negative comments about the new design. I hope they listen to their customers.

Great containers - bought them to go with my others. The lids were a bit shorter in height from top to bottom than my previous set so not an exact match but it will work.
These containers look nice on the shelf, are high quality, and very easy to use. Make sure you dry the stainless steel tops though, because they do get water spots.I liked these so much that I immediately went and bought some more.
Really nice containers. Reason for the low rating is because Oxo advertises this as a 12pc set however, it’s really only a 10pc set 2 of the items are stickers and a scoop. That to me does not constitute as a 12pc set. For the price I want the 12 canisters as advertised. Very misleading and disappointing.
I was so excited to grab the stainless steel 6 piece at a good price! Took them home, hand washed the containers so I could start using them right away. Filled a few and was very pleased... until I filled the .4qt and the lid just slipped right off. There was no "seal". I tried the other containers and they held/worked great. I understand that they are not made to be picked up by the lid and that its not a vacuum seal, but if the container was to tip over, the lid would come off and the contents would spill. To me, that defeats the purpose. I bypassed BedBath&Beyond and went straight to the manufacture. I was told (twice) "that's how the lids are designed" and at best they could send me "a gasket if it would easy my mind". These products are easy to wash, hold a decent volume of food, seal securely and stack nicely. The pantry is already looking more organized!
The lids don't seal properly. Got a whole bunch of mealmoths in our food/grains and we were subjecting to throwing away over $150 of food. OXO is only sending new lids which doesn't make sense since it was the lid not sealing in the first place that cause this. Definitely buyer beware on this product!
