I purchased this primarily for keeping a couple of camellias 'balled', however I keep finding uses for it! Trimming Seaside Daisies (which I find hard work to do by hand, as they are so dense): Brrrr.... Done! Lemongrass: Brrrr.... Done! Star Jasmine: Brrrr.... Done! Overgrown pelargoniums: Brrrr.... Done! It's been an excellent addition to the tool collection. I have an Ozito PXC leaf blower which has proven itself to be an essential and reliable piece of equipment, so I was confident in purchasing this one (plus the excellent warranty), and I'll be looking at other PXC tools when I have future needs.

I bought this hedger this year and cannot say how much i love this light weight hedger to bits. It is perfect for small to medium size hedges. It is so safe to use with its double safety handle switches. At first I didnt know how to use it as the manual doesn't specifically say how to turn it on. I had to go back to bunnings to get someone to help. So FYI for those that dont know, you simple hold both handle switches simultaneously. One handle switch wont turn on without the other. Great size, very compact. Love it.

In fact I was so excited I also trimmed the pittosporum golfball shrubs as well. I have had this trimmer for 3.5 years, absolutely brilliant trimmer. If and when it goes to garden heaven I will not hesitate in buying another one. I also have a sander, electric power saw and blower, the wife loves it, light weight and no fooling around mixing fuel.
Bought several Ozito garden tools today, had to add this into my basket of purchases. At first when I turned this on, I thought this thing sounded like it won't cut anything worthwhile. Wow, trimmed the viburnum and lilly pillies no problem at all. Totally thrilled with the performance. The shears can be stored away now. :)

I bought the kit to keep approx. 25m of tall hedges tidy in a rental house. Very happy with the Ozito, it dealt with fine branches through to sharpie texter size branches well. The power from the small battery was plenty for the job and the simple 3-light system to indicate how much power is left was very useful. The trimmer is quite light, easy to handle even with arms outstretched and the safety switch as part of the main handle works well if the trimmer slips in your hands. Time will tell how it performs in the coming months.
I brought this 01/09/2021 as a fathersday gift, my dad opened this gift to find it broken, dirty well used and not in any wrapping or packaging at all. there was a bag that was siting in there but not over or covering any product. The battery charger had mud over it. the cord was damaged there was grass and other cuttings in the box and all over the blades. there was grease and black markings all over the blades. The Safety guard on the trimmer is snapped and the missing piece is not in the box. There is mud dirt and grime all over the blades and there are even markings on the handles that are used. I have attached pictures of the product after we removed the majority of the dirt, trimmings and grass. Never been so disappointed.
This is the second one that I have bought, this one for a friend, so you can understand that I think it is a great product.What I like about a battery-powered garden trimmer is that there is no risk of accidentally cutting a power cord, and you don't need to mix or store 2-stroke fuel. All you have to do is pick it up, slip the battery in, and you are right to in a flash.Only suggestion I would make is for it to be supplied with a larger battery, although the 2.0AH battery supplied is large enough to trim a couple of large shrubs.It is handy to note that the batteries are interchangeable with many other Ozito garden and workshop tools.Thumbs up from me!
When I got the trimmer home I struggled to get the blade cover off, returned to store & they checked another - it was the same, the man at service counter struggled to get cover off blade. Quality Control checker must have been on holiday! However I like Ozito products, it was suggested if I wanted to keep it not to use cover - Good idea! The Timmer works really well I keep it in the box.
