As per other reviews here - it kind of mostly does what it says. Will it push the nails through timber? Yes.Will it do so effortlessly and flawlessly? No. You will have to really push down on it to get it flush. Brough this a few months ago for some hobby and basic Brad Nail applications. Seriously works great. The nail size is mentioned on the box and on the nailer - so be aware BEFORE you buy what its capabilities are. Also - for all the limp wristed DIYers complaining about the nails not penetrating the timber, apply pressure with your other hand onto the back of the nailer and push while you pull the trigger. No complaints from me.

I bought mine to do a few small jobs as I didn't want to lug my compressor around. I have no problem driving the C1 brads, or the staples supplied - in fact they were almost driven below the surface. (Plywood, MDF). I did discover that the Lithium batteries need two or three charge cycles to achieve full power. (I have two or three spare batteries for my other Ozito tools). The only problem I have encountered is finding the replacement brads and staples - Bunnings?

I purchased this to staple insulation strapping under my house. It's got enough power to do the job shooting into hardwood with ease. Battery from my ozito drill lasts for a long time. I've got it covered in dust and dirt and it still fires every time. But.. I wouldn't recommend this for floor insulation strapping because it is bulky and needs to be pointed at a particular angle which is difficult when you have a small space to work. Also, I wish the staples that came with it were labelled in terms of size, instead, you get a box with a bunch of different sizes and you'll need to guess the size. Lastly, would be nice for it to hold a bigger capacity of staples as I found myself wriggling out from under the house several times to reload.
Purchased this to help ease arthritic pain in hands after using manual style ARROW brand stapler. Handles 8-14mm staples with ease. Quick and easy to load. Fires into a variety of timber’s with adjustable tensioner. Excellent product. Everything I wanted and more. Has saved my hands heaps after spending many hours fixing chicken wire to pine timber frames using 8mm staples. Thumbs up from me.
As everyone left the feedback. You do need a hammer to get nail flushed but only for hardwoods. On softwood like pine it does flushed. Well pay 120 for both nail and stapler or pay 300 for Ryobi nailer and another 269 for stapler. Or just get the hammer .
I bought this just before Christmas and have already used it to repair some fencing around my property. I found it to be lightweight, easy to load or change between nails and staples. The adjustment knob ensures that you have the right tension when inserting nails and staples, although on the rare occasion I did have to slightly hammer a couple of nails home. All in all, it's a great tool for the price and another edition to my Ozito Cordless Collection.
Let me start by first stating that I have quite a few Ozito tools and have been satisfied with their performance. Unfortunately the Ozito cordless nail gun has fallen short of expectations. While it is solidly made the nail gun has been unable to drive a 22mm brad nail flush to the wood surface. I only used the nail gun on pine and mdf and all nails protruded 3-4mm from the wood surface, even with the setting maxed out. This is something I see others have mentioned in reviews and it is problematic.Bunnings was great with the Ozito 30 day satisfaction guarantee return policy allowing me to get something capable of doing the job. While I generally recommend Ozito tools for home DIY, I would suggest Ozito look at improving this product. For only a few dollars more I was able to buy a compressor and pneumatic nail gun which are able to do the job.Sorry Ozito but this one is a definite fail!
I've used this a couple of months. Bought it for the odd small, light duty site job where I didn't want to lug a compressor. It's just adequate for that, but has not performed well.Negatives: My biggest complaint (and it's a big one) is that it lacks the power to drive a 32mm brad all the way home. When dialled up to max power, still Leaves 2mm of brad protruding that needs to be manually punched in. This happens with pine, ply, mdf (soft things), not tried anything hard like marine ply, but I imagine that'd be worse. Pretty unacceptable and I expect a tool advertised as a 32mm brad gun to sink those brads at least flush. I want more power from an 18v tool.Positives: Hasn't jammed or misfired. I'm actually quite surprised. Seems moderately well put together. ... MoreI've used this a couple of months. Bought it for the odd small, light duty site job where I didn't want to lug a compressor. I'm actually quite surprised. Seems moderately well put together. Staples quite well - drives 16mm narrow crown staples nicely home and I think this is probably it's best use - a cordless staple gun. Drives 20mm brads flush. The skin is cheap if you already have the batteries (is that a positive?).A product falling short of it's own claims and my expectations. Underpowered, but inexpensive. Staples well, but does not do what it says on the box.I'd likely not buy this again, and I probably wouldn't endorse it.
Ideal for small projects. As with most nail or staple guns, this is not suitable for any type of hardwoods. Depending on the timber density, and moisture content, yes you may have to nail punch a few of the nails in to get them flush, or below the surface. Before loading my nails, I run the strings of them for one pass across the fine wheel on my bench grinder, both sides, and the nails drive in a heap easier. Don't be that person who pays 139.00 for a tool, and expects it to perform like a 500+ dollar unit. It's a great little DIY tool.
