I've had this tent for YEARS and its the best tent I've owned by far. They don't call it the 30 second tent for no reason. Easiest setup ever which is exactly what you want when it comes to camping. Get to crack open a drink and relax while everyone else is still setting up there sites. 100% recommend

Bought one in December and seasoned as instructed. The water literally sheets off... It sounds weird but looks awesome. We travelled Tasmania in it for a month. Through heavy rain, 80km winds and 0 degree temperatures. It was perfect. We did find an issue with the tightening of the front flaps to a point we couldn't do the tent up properly anymore. This was around the condensation windows at the front and happened gradually over the course of the month. We contacted Oztent regarding the issue and we're referred back to BCF. We had heard there was warranty issues with oztent not wanting to fix problems but we had nothing but a positive experience. Love the tent, if you're interested in purchasing one I highly recommend getting the fly, especially if you plan on winter camping. Tent material and quality is high, and a great touring tent. If you plan on doing multiple weekends away have a good think as it's Harvey and takes up a lot of room. You may even need riif racks if you don't have a tube/Ute as it's quiet long. I've used this in hot sand, summer spring and in pouring rain. If you setup the tent right this this will keep you dry. Only downer is the bag, after the 10th use the bags straps snapped, for the coin OzTrail should offer a better bag. All in all highly recommend.

Purchased this tent about 6 months ago with recoomendation from a friend, after complaining about setting up and packing down my roof top tent. And the RV5 has been a God send! Perfect amount of space for a queen stretcher and all your gear! And the quickest set up I have ever experienced! Plus you cannot beat it for quality.

I bought this over a year ago after buying many camping tents and not being happy with them for one reason or another. This one covered 99 percent of my issues. It works exactly as advertised. It goes up in 30 seconds or less and comes down just as easy. It is well built and sturdy. Plenty of windows for ventilation or you can zip it up tight . The front is nice on it for add ons in the future if you want to put zip on sides and such. It does not come with a rain fly but I have been in some pretty heavy rains with it and I was skeptical but I had no leaks. I will be purchasing a rain fly soon because I plan on doing some winter camping and they do recommend a fly for snow. The zippers are heavy duty no problems there. Great tent. Sets up in 30 seconds like they suggest. It is built well but could have minor improvements. The awning could do with a solid bar along the end to assist in rolling it up as it is difficult as one person. It would also keep it rigid when set up.It is waterproof but that also means you do get condensation. I hear they are better for cold camping as the material insulates a lot better than the cheap tents. I look forward to some winter camping.Glad I bought it, as now we are motivated to go camping more.
Stitching holes did not tighten up with five rounds of seasoning in the first week. Added pictures to the OzTent owners group on Facebook who confirmed it didn’t look right. OzTent returns policy is a bit more complex than just swapping it at the store, so still waiting to see what they say. I expected better quality controls on one of Australia’s most expensive tents.
So misleading.Yes they are good.I have two.But if your can hammer in the 50 pegs in 30 seconds your faster than me. You can't sleep in it after 30 seconds that's just rubbish and so misleading.You need to sort poles and all the guy ropes etc etc etc.Good for 2 people only no room for more.Can only stand one end the other your feet will hit with a stretched. Even if under 6 feet.They are Really small inside.If wanting a single person or two tent that a single person can put up these are good.If you want heaps more room but two people to put up. Purchased online and collected instore. Tent is quality and takes only 30 seconds to erect. To fully set up with guy ropes, poles etc is about 10 mins.Anyone looking for a family tent for 4 get an oztent rv5. Fits 1 x queen inflatable mate and 1 x single with ease. Will need roof racks as the tent bag is 2.1mtrs. Also get the extra poles and spreader bars like in the plus version, makes the tent so much more rigid. Only draw back to this tent is, its not very aerodynamic so it does get hit with the wind pretty hard and flaps around. It dosent go anywhere as the guys ropes do there job very well. Well worth the money spent.
