For the past 1 year I have been suffering from fungal infection. I have awful discoloration on my face which appears after every 6 months and lasts for a month. I am currently on 6 months treatment and noticed my face reacts to many lotions. I decided to try palmers she butter formula and the discoloration began fading like magic. My face is now clear whilst I am still on treatment. I told my doctor who surprised at how quick the discoloration was fading about this lotion, he was very excited about the product and advised me to continue using Palmer. I have noticed my face is dark, I hope it brightens soon like the rest of my body.

Have you ever heard the phrase..if it isn't broken..don't fix it?? Change is not always good. I don't know who was the genius who thought it'd be a good idea...but NO! It SMELL AWFUL! Combining the two does not work. They may be cost effective for you but for the loyal consumers.. wrong! I have been loyal for years. I don't wear makeup and don't look my age. I have great skin. No one guesses my age correctly and I'm a former model. I have to find the last of the shea butter formula with E and soap somewhere before it's all gone. I won't buy the new replacement and won't encourage others to buy it. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED! Hope you don't get rid of the soap also. It was bad enough when you tried to use "complexion"soap." I’ve been using this specific lotion for a few years now. I just got two replacement bottles and they are so different. One bottle has a little more writing in it such as “dermatologist approved” and they took “new look” off the front. The other bottle is older. The newer bottle STINKS. It smells like loose change when I rubbed it in. I’m not sure what yal did but please change it back. The ingredients are the same but something is off.

I’ve been using this specific lotion for a few years now. I just got two replacement bottles and they are so different. I have been a faithful purchaser of the old Shea butter formula for my elderly mom and I...we both loved it! It was creamy and moisturised without leaving a thin film or greasy feeling and the scent...it was heavenly! So pleasant and mild. Yesterday, I went to purchase another bottle and noticed the new packaging. Thinking that the formula was the same, I purchased it. What a terrible disappointment!!! I applied some lotion and the consistency was much thinner and left a wet, sticky feeling afterwards. And, the new scent is awful! It is very offensive, persistent and overly perfumed. I tried to wash it off my hands and the scent still persisted. Why would this company decide to change perfection? Please! Return the old formula...you had a real winner in it.
Smells awful. After applying it to my hands, there is a toxic, like "superglue smell" that stays for a while. Instead of moisturizing my skin, it makes it dry, where my skin on the palms gets all tight and kind of wrinkled. When I apply a different lotion,I don't have such an issue. Maybe too much alcohol or other chemical was added.
I'm only familiar with the actual cocoa butters, and never was a fan of the old yellow bottle Shea butter. However today seen this new raw Shea butter lotion and tried it in store and literally instantly felt and seen difference in hands alone. I purchased two bottles along with of course the cocoa butter body wash and radiance gel oil. I plan to switch hygenes to theses particular ones now for entire family. Great job Palmers for an entire family to switch to your products due to your new raw Shea butter lotion. Kudos it even smells great and leaves our dry skin soft, moisturized, healthy looking and smelling great. You got plenty new customers in us.
I've used this Raw Shea lotion in the white pump bottle (white lotion)for 3 months and lLOVE it! I use to use Loccitane Shea which was very expensive. I have turned family and friends over to Palmer's. I went to purchase another bottle but noticed a thicker lotion was in the bottle. Now since I am new to Palmer' s Raw Shea I am not sure what's different. I have read all the reviews that were begging for old formula in the yellow bottle to return. Can someone tell me which formula I have been using because I really like it and am hesitant to try the other. I don't care about the color of bottle it is packaged in but would just like to use the Raw Shea Lotion that is white and came in a white pump bottle . Help!! I can't find it anywhere.
I used the original shea butter formal forever! I'm not a fan of cocoa butter and shea butter has always been my saving grace. After recently depleting my supply of the Palmers original shea butter I went to the store to discover this new package and formula. I was disappointed instantly but I bought it anyway. I tried it twice and loathed it. The smell is horrible & it doesn't feel the same on my skin. I returned the product to my retailer and have been on the hunt for another perfect lotion. This was a horrible. Change the package not the product formula! I'm sure the other reviews that trashed the changes but still rated it with three stars meant to give it one star. I have been using Palmer's products for about 40 plus years. The Raw Shea Nourish line is my favorite. I keep a surplus of this lotion. I work in healthcare and this great lotion for my hands. I can't be without it!
I used to be a fan of palmer's especially the cocoa butter but it gave me a tan and since am medium skinned well I decided to additional dark tone wouldn't help my complexion soo much and so I tried the shea butter formula and it was amazing so says my family and friends but personally I didn't notice any improvements so I switched and years later after trying one moisturiser to the other, ...specifically this month I had my mom go buy me the shea butter formula which I knew had a good change on my skin from friends and families point of view well...so before that I checked on the Internet and saw the new formula which is the raw shea and I wasn't kinda sure if I wanted the old one or new so I Mom came back with the new one and I was wasn't sure if I should use it ... Am an African and over here in Africa shea butter is soo cheap but I don't use iy cause its unrefined and thus soo oily to be used in the African weather filled dust but this lotion gave me a fair tone and I love it.am sooo recommending it to everyone. I love the fact that its mineral oil free cause I have an oily face but not prone to acne .palmer's please don't stop producing it cause I feel it was made just for me.just produce more of the old one so you don't lose customers but don't stop producing the old one too.
