As noted in the title I bought these on special for a cheap price. I wasn't expecting too much. After using cheap earbuds for so long these things blew me away. I'm not an audiophile, but the sound is clear and crisp. I downloaded the Panasonic app and toyed with the equiliser settings to suite my preference. At first I though these were too quiet, but then I realised they have a separate volume control from the phone. I began triple tapping the left earbud and grew a wide smile as the volume kept increasing.with a 7.5hr battery life and the ability to easily use one at a time, these will definitely be my daily drivers. They also fit in my ears tightly, I've had so many bad quality earbuds. I've had one blow out of my ear and down a storm drain.I can't think of ... MoreAs noted in the title I bought these on special for a cheap price. I wasn't expecting too much. I guess I don't like sensor buttons, but thats more of a personal preference. Im clumsy and and accidentally activate functions, but unlike other earbuds I've owned at least I'm not accidentally calling people with these lol5/5 stars - possibly in part to the steal of a price I got them for :)

I was gifted the Panasonic RZ-S300 Earbuds in exchange for an honest review on Panasonic's website. OVERALL For the price, they're good all-rounders for every day use. Panasonic doesn't make any promises they can't keep when it comes to these but if you're after something niche/high end these aren't for you- you should look towards wired headphones used in music production. It's about use-case and for me, these were great. POSITIVES The "connected" voice isn't loud/grating, sound quality/battery life is good, connectivity is fast and they charge via USB-C (a nice change from micro-USB). As a fashion designer/drag artist, I can't use wired headphones when I work. Either I'll snip the cord whilst cutting fabric or if I'm practicing a routine my phone is going to fly ... MoreI was gifted the Panasonic RZ-S300 Earbuds in exchange for an honest review on Panasonic's website. Either I'll snip the cord whilst cutting fabric or if I'm practicing a routine my phone is going to fly out of my pocket with headphones attached. These stayed in my ears nice and snug through everything. NEGATIVES - Flashing light every 5 seconds when connected - reflection would be an issue if you wear glasses - Wish there was slightly more bass for depth of sound, but this is a niche personal preference (most people wouldn't find this an issue) - Fiddly case - sometimes these take a sec to put in the case but they secure with a "click" when properly inserted. - Accidentally bumping the touch sensor when brushing my hair behind my ear is annoying but in general, a touch sensor has less ways of breaking than a button so I'm ok with the compromise. OTHER POINTS - Low form factor is great and I prefer earphones where the hard plastic part doesn't shape to the ear, so these fit me fantastically. Before buying however, consider what your own preferences are. - Ambient sound setting is hit or miss depending on who you are. If this sound were adjustable it'd be great for tinnitus, but since I couldn't adjust this sound to a low rumbling I found it more stressful than anything. I don't foresee myself using this setting.

The one thing that I truly appreciated the most was the fact that outside noise was not able to intrude my listening experience without a solid effort. Previous earbuds allowed wind and other external noises to interfere and even though these are not listed as "noise cancelling", you could happily walk around listening to something with out realising your wife has been yelling at you for the last couple of minutes. This brings me to it's feature that I have not come across before, the ambient sound feature. This is a beauty to have, if you are feeling uncomfortable while walking or working about not being able to hear an alarm or a car, do not worry, just turn this feature on and it plays the outside sound through your earbuds under what you are listening without overpowering it. All up, these are a solid 5/5 and I look forward to what Panasonic have in mind for the future.

I was gifted the RZ-S300 Earbuds in exchange for an honest review on Panasonic's website. I received the earbuds as a trial to test and review. However they have performed well and are a great set of earbuds. I used the earbuds during my usual routines which include online studies, listening to music and audio books, phone calls, exercise including running and cycling as well as travelling for work. The earbuds were easy to connect and the app worked well. I especially liked that you can just use one earbud, other brands I have tried you could use one but it had to be the right, it was nice to be able to use either ear especially for cycling. I especially liked that you can just use one earbud, other brands I have tried you could use one but it had to be the right, it was nice to be able to use either ear especially for cycling. The buds blocked out ambient noise to an ok standard by no means noise cancelling but I could easily listen to music or a movie in noisy environments such as an airplane and while running or working out. When wearing during exercise the buds felt comfortable and didn't slip out even when working up a sweat in the Darwin heat. I did manage to bump the touch sensor a lot which was a little annoying but with longer use I remembered to avoid the area when brushing away hair ect. The buds were comfortable to wear and had good sound quality for phone calls and for Zoom classes, it was a little awkward at first to get the right way up and alignment for putting in the ear by feel as they are round with little directional indications, but the longer I used them this issue went away. I am not a sound expert by any means but for music the listening quality was good, I did like the sound on my Jabra pair of wireless earbuds better though. All in all a great set of earbuds for all round use.
The case is sturdy and opening it up, 4 LEDs light up to indicate the battery level along with the earphones themselves lighting up red. On the downside, it takes a little jiggle to fit them back into the case snugly. This is disappointing as most earphones pop in to their cases magnetically without any fuss. Battery life is easily a big positive. I haven't charged it in a week of usage. I haven't been able to test the full advertised 7 hours on a each earphone. The claim of additional 22 hours from the case is also impressive. Audio: quality is middling. It's not too strong on bass so it leans more towards the highs but it's not very refined either. Not impressive by any means but works just fine for my use which is mainly podcasts, youtube and audiobooks. Not impressive by any means but works just fine for my use which is mainly podcasts, youtube and audiobooks. Mics: The other party could hear me while I was indoors, and speaking a little loudly I was audible outdoors as well. While I never expect TWS earphones to to have great mics, these did perform quite well. Functionality: -Both L and R earphones can connect independantly. This is pro and works for my usage because I prefer using one bud at a time unless I'm really getting into the music and want stereo. When one bud is dying I can just swap it out for the other. -Another big plus is having Alexa(Google assitant can be used too) on hand. Long tap on the left earbud activates Alexa. This is fantastic to make calls or a quick check of the weather. -Volume adjustment is also available but only on the L earphone. -There is an option to locate the earbuds but this is quite useless since it only works when already connected only plays a sound at a loud volume. -Finally the biggest flaw with these that make them completely unusable for me: A blue light flashes from the earbud for no reason every 5 seconds even when connected. This is especially annoying when wearing glass and you actually see the reflection every 5 seconds. Totally unnecessary and hopefully fixable with a firmware update.
bought these in september if last year, thankfully bought a 3 year warranty through NL for an extra ~$15 bc they've broken 4 times now. the replacement process is very easy and only takes a few days. each time i got a brand new model, but the same part would break.after about 2ish months of use, the charging hub takes overnight to get to full battery, then dies after half a day. in my case too, either one or both ear pieces would eventually refuse to charge and would die after about 10 minutes of use.would recommend any panasonic wired earbud as an alternative as i've never had issues with those and they last years. definitely invest in the higher priced models! as im sure there's some higher quality make there.also the shape is quite bulky and doesn't fit ... Morebought these in september if last year, thankfully bought a 3 year warranty through NL for an extra ~$15 bc they've broken 4 times now. the replacement process is very easy and only takes a few days. each time i got a brand new model, but the same part would break.after about 2ish months of use, the charging hub takes overnight to get to full battery, then dies after half a day. in my case too, either one or both ear pieces would eventually refuse to charge and would die after about 10 minutes of use.would recommend any panasonic wired earbud as an alternative as i've never had issues with those and they last years. definitely invest in the higher priced models! as im sure there's some higher quality make there.also the shape is quite bulky and doesn't fit very snug in my ear, so if im running or chewing they loosen and start to fall out, but that's a user error i suppose.
I was gifted the Panasonic RZ-S300 Earbuds in exchange for an honest review on Panasonic's website. Firstly I should start with I have tiny ears and most earphones don't fit, so when my partner says I don't listen, at least I have an excuse. I was thrilled to find that these earphones came in various sizes for those with teeny tiny ear-cavities like mine, and they fit like a glove! I have loved going on my morning walks using these stylish new buds, no longer am I struggling to tuck my phone in my leggings and untangling cords, I'm finally free and loving it! And the charge goes on and on and on. I quite enjoyed being able to skip songs and pause music just my touching the pods, it did take me a little while to get used to putting them in with turning them on and off, and one has to be very quick when skipping as a double touch, when slow sometimes it results in the pods thinking it was pressed once (on/off), but it's a matter of practice and it's a handy function. The Bluetooth connection was quick and reliable. I even used them from 50 metres away and only then did the connection wane slightly. Although these aren't 'officially' noise cancelling, the design of the bud created a seal in my ear and it blocks out a fair bit of noise. Great for listening to music, but one needs to be wary of surrounds when crossing roads and I may have offended a person or two talking to me; whoops! But they should have known I hadn't had my morning coffee yet anyway. The seal is great for music, and blocking out road noise when travelling on a bus, but it took a little getting used to the slight pressure caused and I would take them out before ascending on an aeroplane – when we finally get to fly! I listen to a variety of music, upbeat on my morning walks and a little mellower when commuting to work, so I arrive zen. Music was crisp and clear and it was like I was in my own bubble of music. I would recommend these for those with mini-ear cavities and music lovers alike!
I was gifted the Panasonic RZ-S300 Earbuds in exchange for an honest review on Panasonic's website. My new go-to earbuds! The RZ-S300 earbuds are an all-round great product. • The sound is the best i've experienced from earbuds (I typically wear headphones due to the quality difference), extremely clear quality with the ability to bass boost or equalise yourself through the Panasonic Connect App. • The noise cancelling is impressive, exceeding what I expected from an earbud. • Ambient sound is a great feature, making it super easy to hear what's going on around you without having to remove your buds. • The connectivity is fast and reliable • The minimalist carry case that doubles as a charger works great, using USB-C for fast charging and small magnets to help the ... MoreI was gifted the Panasonic RZ-S300 Earbuds in exchange for an honest review on Panasonic's website. During this period, the buds are comfortable and aside from the music playing; easy to forget that you're even wearing them. I've also been able to take them to gym twice and use home workouts, they do a good job of staying put whilst also drowning out the unwanted noise you typically find at a gym.
I have just returned these headphones to Noel Leeming in Paraparaumu after purchasing them just over a month ago. They were bought to listen to music on the train ride home after work, but I only managed to get them working once. They are just terrible to pair, and I the only way that I could manage it to connect was by putting my phone momentarily into 'Airplane Mode'. However, the worst thing about them is that the volume could not be lowered or raised. I lowered it right down after during the first pairing, and then could never raise it again. I also tried it with my wife's phone, but it too had issues. After doing research and reading really good reviews about them I thought that they would be great. However it was the exact opposite. Thank you to Noel Leeming Paraparaumu and the young female sales assistant who took them back without fuss, and issued my refund immediately.
