Ingredients: The shampoo contains 0% silicones, parafins, mineral oils and colourants, however it does contain sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate, commonly used in many shampoos. These sulphates help the shampoo remove dirt and oil from the scalp and hair, however people with sensitive skin may find these ingredients irritating to the scalp. While for people with oily hair the addition of sulfates helps to remove excess oil. Personality I did not find the shampoo irritating. Overall the shampoo is a product decent for the cost, it removed built up dirt and hair products without causing any irritation. The fragrance is a little strong for me, and I found it did not nourish my hair on its own. The ends of my hair are damaged and were left feeling dehydrated without the use of conditioner. The shampoo did work nicely when combined with the other products in the range including Pantene’s smooth conditioner and leave in treatment.

So I went in to this trial with an open mind. The packaging is a little boring, but it is in line with the brand and functionally adequate. The shampoo has a nice smell which isn't too overpowering. The shampoo lathers nicely, and washes out without leaving any unwanted residue. In regard to performance, the shampoo cleans the hair well without drying it out.
