It is a pretty date night fragrance as well. It is functional in Summer if worn lightly or in moderation. However, the intense sweetness can become cloying in high humidity climates. Delina Exclusif is very similar to Miss Dior Cherie; another perfume I frequently wear. This perfume is quite expensive at $350 per bottle. I had the opportunity to purchase a travel size through Scentbird for $8.47 in June. This is a beautiful perfume that has better longevity and projection than most I have tried. I wear it often and definitely recommend it.

Each fragrance has its own olfactory signature, derived from a palette of noble ingredients, reinterpreted for a unique experience. Delana - is an ode to femininity and sensuality. The blooming top notes of delina hold fruity sense of lychee and rubarb. Then the fragrance expresses its personality through a delicate velvety rose essence of Turkey. It's caressing petals unveiled delicious and warm musky and vanilla base notes. I found this scent to be very girly but it did not bother me like most other super feminine fragrances do. The scent lasted roughly 6 hours before needing a touchup.

This is only the second fragrance that has had outstanding longevity on my skin, so I think that’s a testament to its quality. I always include in my perfume reviews that I have trouble with fragrances lasting or meshing well with my body chemistry. I could still smell this the next day, which was shocking. It is a very elegant, non-stuffy or traditional rose scent. The bottle is exquisite, and even has a little jewel on top. My only problem is that it smells very similar to one I already have; Chloé. One of the overwhelming notes on myself is the lychee, I think, you get that fruitiness(not typical or any way similar to body spray imo), and that’s how it is a little different from Chloé. This is the perfect name for a fragrance. Delina… when you think about that name honestly doesn’t someone beautiful come to mind? That’s exactly this fragrance. She’s beautiful. The opening smells a bit like a tart filling for a pastry in my opinion, smells like litchi and rhubarb however some vanilla and musk sneak in and a little bit of rose. On the skin it does smell a bit powdery mixed with florals but it does not smell dusty nor old. It’s very classy kind of like a bathroom full of ladies who dust their noses and have nice outfits on. It is not creamy like Delina Exclusif. Its definitely more tart like when you’re biting into a green apple like that. I really wanted to try this on after I've seen an influx of reviews on social media about it and the hype is honestly well deserved. This is a beast mode fragrance because it's an extrait. This is soo lovely, words don't suffice to describe just how pretty this scent is. I find with Parfums de Marly, you have to give their perfumes at least 10 minutes to dry down and mix with your skin's chemistry to really get the most out of their perfumes, and I was honestly left stunned at how gorgeous this scent is. It's a nice rosey/ tart lychee scent, but isn't old lady/grandma smelling at all. It's not an obnoxious rose either. This has so much depth and character, I couldn't stop sniffing my arm lol. Delina reminds me of holding a fresh bouquet of roses with the roses smell (very Damascene rose), but that the bouquet had earthy smells like the stems and leaves.........So picture that Damascene rose bouquet (Damascene is more of a watery rose).....So you are holding that Damascene rose bouquet, BUT here is the kicker you are on Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland (specifically the Disneyland version with the musky, mossy, smell). I KNOW that is quite the graphic, BUT that is exactly how Delina smells. I'm normally a spicy and/or sweet gourmand perfume lover, however, Parfums de Marley Dalina is truly addictive. In this amazing fragrance of Parfums de Marly immediately after spraying it I can feel sweet fruity and floral notes. Delina is romantic and feminine, soft and delicate fragrance but it has a lot of presence and character. The vanilla in this fragrance adds depth to the whole composition and makes it quite addictive. The incorporation of rhubarb and Litchi in the notes of Delina was quite an unexpected move and it makes the fragrance quite unique. I mean I hated Nishane Ani for a solid week it was an awful overwhelming ginger bomb where I couldn’t smell anything other than ginger and now it’s my favorite perfume in my entire collection It’s my signature scent and my nose picks up on all the notes now so with that in mind I decided to force myself to wear Delina Exclusif and on the second day I found myself not hating it as much then the third day I found myself really enjoying the opening of the fragrance. From then on it’s been me falling head over heels for this one. Parfums de marly isn’t for everyone I can’t even explain how complicated it is on your nose until you expose yourself to it more and more. The average person most likely would think this fragrance is no good I’ll be honest but for those who love scents and understand that sometimes you have to give them a few chances to really develop them you might really fall in love because for me this went from smelling like cheap red wine almost dizzying tbh but now I smell individual notes and the burst of fruits and rose mixed with this sensual creaminess and just a hint of smokiness from the incense. It’s intoxicating and so surprising to me because I went on a journey with this brand and this blind buy was risky for me but I’m so thankful. Parfums de marly is known for their beast scents that fill a room and last so insanely long. This one is no different it’s powerful and so long lasting. But the smell is so unique and so addictive that even though you can still smell it on your skin and clothes hours later you’ll still want to spritz yourself again just to experience that beautiful opening. I’ve never smelled something that was so fresh/fruity, so powdery, and so sensual all at the same time. It’s soooo good that I might get the OG Delina because if this one can be this good while sharing such similar dna to the original then I’m thinking the hype around it might be worth it. I recommend Delina Exclusif endlessly. Everyone that loves sexy feminine fragrances that are rich in complexity then this scent is a must have. It’s a need. If I could only keep 5 fragrances for life then this would be my number 3. It’s that good. PDM is hit or miss but this fragrance is a home run hitter every time.

It is very potent with the Turkish rose and Litchi (if you’re a perfume nut like me, you can pick out Litchi as a note, because it can be a bit screechy). It’s just as powdery as the OG Delina. As it dries down, it turns more youthful, but still a very potent floral, like you got smacked in the face with a bridal bouquet. The oud is definitely there as well - but in the background. I don’t love oud as a note, it can be really animalic and not in a good way, but it is done right in this fragrance.
