Now made in a Fair Trade Certified facility, our neoprene-free Yulex Impact Vest offers additional protection for the torso in heavy and hazardous surf. Made from durable 1.5mm 85% natural rubber/15% synthetic rubber by polymer content with a high-stretch 100% recycled polyester lining, the streamlined, formfitting design can be worn on its own or under a wetsuit, and includes 11 ergonomically patterned 22mm EVA foam panels for supplemental padding and flotation in high-impact situations. Foam edges around the armholes are skived at 45 degrees for maximum range of motion; flatlock seams offer excellent strength and durability; spandex bindings along the neck, armholes and bottom hem provide a secure and comfortable fit. Nylon reinforcement at the center-front provides boardshort tie-in compatibility. Exterior face fabric is stretchy and durable 88% recycled polyester/12% spandex.
