Paula's Choice Resist Daily Pore-Refining Treatment 2% BHA (88ml)

This product completely turned my skin around! I have struggled with adult acne ever since my early 20's. I have tried almost everything--tons of different products with all of the usual acne-fighting ingredients, prescription topical treatments, etc. No matter what I did, nothing ever made much of a difference. I even gave Differin and other retinoids a chance, and my skin was still a disaster long after I should have seen results from those products. However, I decided to give this product a try, and I noticed results within a couple of weeks. My skin's texture already felt smoother, and my breakouts were subsiding. After a few months, I can honestly say that my skin looks amazing.

Fantastic product

I wish I had found these products about 50 years ago! For the first time since I was a young woman I have clear skin. Using this particular product helps get rid of the skin gently and has helped clear my face without extreme measures. I use a combination of products. It took a bit of time to find the right combination but now I have kept my skin clear for over 6 months. Which has never happened before. Highly recommended is an understatement!!!

I could not imagine my skin with out this!

I have been using this product for 7 years. I absolutely LOVE it. Each time I stopped this during pregnancy my skin was a mess. Postpartum when I began again it was like a miracle. I have always had lots of acne- cystic during my cycle & ingrown hairs, especially my eyebrows. Combination skin- dry cheeks, VERY Large pores on nose, oily nose. This is wonderful- if I have a breakout starting, or popped red pimples and I apply this the redness goes away immediately and the pimples are gone in a day or two. It takes the swelling down on any cystic breakouts which I now rarely get if I use this 2 x day. If I have a deep, painful one I add a touch of PC clear daily skin cleaning treatment with benzoyl peroxide. I have tried the other PC BHAs including the 4% and the other than resist- this is the only one that gives me the best results! Daily- I use the BHA 2 % RESIST daily pore refining treatment in am & pm after washing with water & the PC makeup remover for any eye makeup. Then I use the clear oil free moisturizer under my eyes, then Ilia ( another life changing brand ) radiant priming serum, thenIlia super skin serum tint w spf 40. I use the PC resist intensive wrinkle- repair retinol serum at night 2x week only on my forehead and under eyes. I am in my mid 40 s with sun damaged light skin, reddish blonde hair. This routine, but especially the resist daily pore treatment with 2% BHA has changed my life & my skin for the better.

I first used this product...

I first used this product nearly a decade ago and was amazed at the results. Pores were visibly reduced, skin felt softer, and it calmed down spot breakouts within a few days of them emerging. I got out of the habit of my skincare routine for a while and stopped being able to afford PC but came back to it a few months ago. I still like the products but confess I don't like how cheap and flimsy the packaging is now. I realise we pay for what's inside the bottle but compared to the old metallic look, the current packaging looks cheap. I also found the cap on my travel size a bit loose. Made things worse

My previous liquid exfoliant from another brand contained alcohol, and after years of use my skin was grey and dry. I switched to this as an alcohol-free alternative, but it gave me lots of bumps under my skin on my cheeks. These bumps would get inflamed and turn into huge horrible spots, then they would retreat back down and become skin bumps again, only to get inflamed and rise up once more! I have never had bumps or spots like these before. I tried using it more often, I tried using it less often, but it made no difference. I eventually gave up and these bumps took months to go away and settle back into my normal, more manageable acne!I will say I have recently discovered the PC Pore Purifier. My son HAD very bad acne...

The best BHA product in the market!

My skin is prone to congestion and extremely reactive. I have used many BHA products and reacted so horribily that I concluded BHA is not for me untill I discovered this one. This is not greasy like the PC grey bottle BHA but more like a watery toner.The results after using half of the bottle are amazing. The skin is much smoother and less bumpy on thd forehead. Also blackheads have reduced so much than before I had it in my routine. I will purchase this over and over!!!!

This one is the best!

I have two teens and I kept complaining at them to use their BHA'S! The boy had the clear and the girl had the black. Well one day, my daughter used mine and said mom I like yours so much better. What? Really? Fine. Whatever trade. Ok now I see the problem. The other two left this film on the skin that maybe takes some getting used to? That's the best way I can put it. I couldn't take it. I tossed the other two out and now we all three have our own bottle of the resist BHA which works beautifully from 15 to 52. It's so lightweight and feels like nothing on and so layers perfectly with anything that you want before or after.Perfection. One of my absolute favorite products that I buy again and again. Worlds best product of its kind, in the worst packaging

The Paula's Choice liquid exfoliants are my absolute HOLY GRAIL. I have tried hundreds, perhaps thousands of products spending tens of thousands in the process but NOTHING has ever even near compared to these products. It's actually crazy. It also feels so amazing and light in the skin, leaving a fresh dewy healthy glow especially on the high points of the face and nose. It's like a highlighter but natural. It also clears out my pores so well, it even reduces fine lines. My only peeve with this product is the PACKAGING. My god it's infuriating. You have to physically pour out the product and that usually results in it leaking all down the side of the bottle it's just a complete pain to try get out. They NEED to add a droplet applicator or something.

Would buy again!

As someone who has always had pretty clear skin, aside from cystic pimples a few times a year, my confidence was plummeting. I've been using this in the morning right after I shower, followed by a moisturizer and things seem to be improving.
