I have always reacted to BHA containing products but decided to give this a try. I have a lot of texture on forehead which seems like trapped oil under the skin. I also have a lot of black heads on the nose and chin. I used nose strps to remove them.Only after using this lotion in place of my moisturizer once , these black heads seemed to be popping out the next day on my fingers as I was massaging my face with an oil. This is a proof that the product actually gets in the pores and dissolves oil. In a week my texture has improved dramatically. The best bit is that I experienced no sensitivity or dryness with the lotion format of BHA. Why have I not tried this before?!

I use it twice daily and it's fantastic. I've been using it for 2 months now I noticed that my blackheads and whiteheads are gradually disappearing. I use pc clear oil free moisturiser twice a day with bha. Once a week 25% aha and 2% bha.My face is so smooth. My friend notices it she asked me what product did I use for my face. I showed her PC facebook page and she might buy some. I'm so happy with PC products. I plan to buy 9bha for spot treatment.

I have acne and get new breakouts but I also have scarring so old acne scars and this lotion works best for my skin. I use this with the bha exfoliant liquid and it does wonders! The lotion itself does not feel greasy or leave that oily looking effect but instead it sits very well on the skin. If your hesitant on whether to buy it or not I say just go for it. I person don't have any cons but we all have different skin types mine being combination and quite sensitive but I'm only saying get it because if there are any others in the same acne curse situation as me then I hope you see the light of day! Make sure you do a lil patch test first though if you have super sensitive skin. Otherwise it is genuinely a great product so get it and try it along with the bha ... I have been using this exfoliator for over 10 years. I would not be without it. Since age 13, I've had spotty, oily/combination skin, but since this product came into my life, my skin has been flawless. I often get compliments about my skin and I always say it's down to this product. I never need to wear foundation or tinted moisturiser. I often get told I look much younger for my age too.
I had been using the liquid version of this product which I love, but I ordered this one by mistake not realizing it comes in different versions. This absolutely wrecked my face to the point where I thought I was having a horrible allergic reaction to something. I was embarrassed to leave the house even with makeup on. I finally thought to look up the ingredients vs. the liquid exfoliant and sure enough this one contains pore clogging ingredients.
I m using Paula's Choice exfoliating salicylic acid liquid for about 2 - 3 yearsAnd i love it it helps with my breakouts.I suffer from acne prone skin since my teenage years. I m now 29 and still get pimples, annoyingly.But Paula's Choice salicylic acid is 1 of the best thing that i have discovered.I even feel sometime that i wake up with younger looking skin. Hahaha.

I've been looking for BHA products for years that would both calm my red skin and breakouts, but reacted badly to them all until I found this one from PC. I use my Skin Perfecting lotion every night before I put on my night cream and it just does the job. No fuss. I only get flare ups when I stop or forget applying it. My skin is definitely on the dryer and sensitive side, and my cheeks are red thus I combine this exfoliant with some really good moisturiser.
