At full retail price, the PC is half the cost of the LRP per ounce. Sometimes I prefer the LRP because it is a slightly simpler formula which has less potential to cause irritation. However, I have a very soft spot for the entire PC Skin Recovery line. It never disappoints in handling extremely dry and/or sensitive skin concerns, and Skin Recovery cleanser is among my favorite staples!

I love the texture of this, it feels like I'm washing my face with a lightweight lotion. My skin felt very soft, clean, and hydrated.Unfortunately I noticed red bumps and redness on my face after using this. I broke out terribly, with several large and painful pimples.I stopped using it and haven't gotten any new break outs.I'll be trying this on my body instead! If you're combo + acne prone, I would pass on this.

I have very dry skin and wanted to love this, but sadly it ticks the box of not stripping, not the one of cleansing. I use this as my second cleanse and my skin still has residue after, it never happened with double cleansing with other products before. I'm African American with very dry skin, and the winter makes it worse (visiting Boston for an extended time right now). But with this cleanser I have seen nothing but hydration, no more dryness, flaking, tight skin, & irritation/ burning from actives due to over-dried skin. Was using Resist cleanser, which worked in Houston weather, but is not sufficient in Boston's colder/drier temp on extremely dry skin. I needed more hydration and this cleanser helps me start off right, keeping my skin hydrated enough to use actives without getting irritated due to over-dryness. I'm going to keep using this when I return to Houston! Also, purchasing for my little sister. My both sisters are now using PC because of me!
Exactly what I was looking for. I've been on the hunt for years for a reasonably priced, cruelty free, cream cleanser without a strong scent that wouldn't set off my sensitive skin or leave me feeling like my face had been stripped of moisture. This cleanser has done that for me.Re: removing makeup, I find that I only have to use an eye makeup remover if I'm wearing waterproof mascara; otherwise, a little extra time massaging this cream in is enough for my daily makeup.
I have been using this product over 3 months and its not too bad. The formula is pretty good at removing make up in a gentle way that does not strip the skin. I have pretty dry skin and wouldn't stay that it keeps it hydrated after washing my face but it doesn't strip my skin like other face washes I have tried. The only con i would have is the bad packaging. The bottle needs to have a pump. It is a squeeze tube with a disc cap which is not effective. You have to have real muscles to squeeze out the product once you have past the half way point. Besides from the ineffective packaging the product isnt too bad
This cleanser removes all makeup without drying my skin. I use the same range toner and it makes skin feel soft and ready for the following products. When using the toner there is no residue of the makeup in the cotton pad whatsoever. My skin dries very easily and this keeps it moisturized and balanced. I've tried so many high end brands and this is the winner combo for me!
