I purchased the Pendleton Charcoal Washable wool blanket in the king size. I have a large mattress and it covered the sides perfectly . I also prefer to tuck my blankets under the mattress to have a streamline look. This blanket had enough coverage on both sides for me to achieve the look I was for. The charcoal color is a true charcoal gray not to brown and not to blue gray. It reminds me of the perfect gray flannel. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend. It is a quality piece I will have for many years to come.

This is a classic and very nice wool blanket. I like the shale blue color, which is a heathered tone, not a solid blue. Having a washable wool blanket will mean it's easier and cheaper to keep clean - no taking to the dry cleaners after the winter's use.

I am very happy with this blanket. Although not striking on its own, the soft blue-gray is a nice neutral that would complement almost any color sheets you may have. My blue and natural striped sheets look great with it. I don't usually put wool in the dryer, but the tag says, "Machine wash, tumble dry low," so I did, and it came out fine, feeling softer than before, with no discernible shrinkage. It is light weight, but warm, and generously sized. Lives up to the catalog description in every way.

This is a great blanket. It's similar in weight (maybe a touch lighter) than traditional Pendleton wool blankets. Perfect for summer when a comforter is too warm. Haven't washed it yet so can't speak to whether it will shrink a bit, but I bought a king size for my queen bed so I'm not worried about possibly losing a couple inches. Color is a true mid-charcoal gray, very similar to the photo.
Color matches the photos pretty well. Blueish grey. it's definitely neither very soft nor super itchy. I haven't washed it yet. It may get softer after a wash or two. It's fairly lightweight and on the thin side. That's a comment about the weight pressing down on you, not a negative about quality. A good blanket for summer nights in my cool basement. I'll probably pair it with another blanket during winter
Overall, I love this Pendleton washable wool blanket. It has the right amount of warmth/breathability and is well-made and attractive. Only point I'd mention is that it took a wash with air-drying to remove a bit of a scent from the blanket, which may have been the result of manufacturing/dye. It was definitely noticeable from first use, but now gone, and the blanket is perfect. I have since washed it several times, and it holds up wonderfully - no pilling, etc.
Flawless seemingly eco wool blanket is great. Im a hot sleeper but like cold rooms and needed something heavy, warm but also not going to make sweat from being too warm. This paired with a Pendleton Yakima quilt and some chambray sheets and Im sleeping markedly better. My eco wool was a bit darker green in the caper than the pictures indicated but it was actually a nice benefit in my case. Great deal for something that will last a lifetime
