My husband and me we were looking for good quality blanket, which will not static, as usual polyester / acrylic blankets do. This one is fully made of wool, keeps us warm, very well-made, design is cool too. I would recommend this blanket if you are looking for good quality one, as we did. If you don't mind synthetics, polyester etc., and you want cozy feeling to your skin - go with cheap one.

This washable wool blanket turned out to be just what I needed to have. Polyester and other materials cause me to perspire and be uncomfortable. I remembered as kid we had wool blankets on our bed so I decided to try this. Even through it is pretty warm now, I have been able to pull it up a few times with no problems. I am so happy with it, I bought my son one to see how it works for him. And I got such good prices on the sale, I could not believe it.

Got mine a few weeks ago when on sale and it was on the bed that day. I did have to put a top sheet under it but who cares. Its sooooo nice and warm. I went and got another one to use on top of the other one for really cold nights here { as I turn the heater way down at night } instead of the old down comforter I was using last winter with a few quilts on top of it. It was wearing out being so old. I love the fact I can wash it and hang it to dry outside . Thanks Macy for the sale and my blanket
I looked a long time for an old-school wool blanket and am very very happy with the Pendleton twin in Midnight Stripe. The colors are lovely and muted, the construction excellent with blanket stitch all around edge and it's generously-sized so it stays tucked in. There's nothing like a wool blanket in a cold room, it keeps you warm and yet breathes a little (unlike polyester fleece which has no breathing and can be clammy). Strongly recommend this blanket for anyone seeking old-school wool, this blanket will last for years.
I was on the fence about spending the money on this blanket but it was definitely worth every penny! It goes perfect with our decor in the bedroom! It is definitely high quality and I have high hopes it will live up to the Pendleton name and last a lifetime. This blanket is warm, it is wool so it's not a cuddling blanket but for the top layer in the winter it adds so much warmth for very little weight.
Well, I love washable wool blankets but this blanket is scratchy on your skin. I will not debate the warmth . I love that you can wash it but you actually need a duvet cover on it. Sorry Pendleton , its a miss on this one.
So, first of all, the first time I ordered I chose the Blackwatch--in the photos, it was purple and blue...BUT in person it was black and greenish. I hate green LOL-- anyway, I went to exchange it for the above style and color and liked it... then I used it. It doesn't keep me warm; I feel a draft! (Maybe, it's my fault... I did put it in the dryer :(
We needed a new blanket and wanted the quality that only a wool blanket can provide. This blanket is great. It did not need pre-washing. We have been using it for about a month now and really like it. Probably will use a lighter blanket in the summer. We got it on sale and other incentives so the price seemed very reasonable.
This is just the perfect layer for my bed, with all the warmth that a wool blanket affords, but light enough so that I am not overheated. The twin is very generously sized and fits my full bed perfectly. The washable feature is great and the stitching on the edges gives it that sophisticated look. I got the blush/gray version and the muted colors are beautiful.
