The oil was fine, but sadly my transmission is not. It stopped working because of the pump inside the transmission, this model doesn't have the cooling system attached to the transmission and it overheated

The fluid is recommended to use in Nissan CVT transmission that requires NS-2 fluid. The price is cheaper than the Nissan fluid.My Nissan Dualis feels smoother to shift & quieter after using the Penrite CVT fluid.

Correct product for my Nissan X-TRAIL T31.Never had any issues buying Penrite as my preferred brand.

Brought this to service the CVT transmission in a little 2005 A-Class Mercedes. MB wanted $260 for the factory fluid this cost me $70 and it's brilliant. Smooth as gear changes and meets the factory MB specifications delivering much smoother shifts at less than half the cost of buying fluid from the dealer.

After alot of research this is this highest quality CVT fluid in leiu of the expensive nissan cvt fliud.Where NS 2 is required as a minimum. This was used in a 2012 nissan xtrail CVT with no problems. Penrite make the best gear, transmission and diff oils by far. They meet and exceed every specification. I use them all the time and they're Australian.
Penrite oil does what it’s supposed to do good quality oil wort the price
Bought this oil based on the store blokes advice and didn’t feel right.Looked up the valvoline web site and sure enough wrong oil for chain drive.Full refund and bloke pointed me to a competitor who had it.Good outcome in the end. Happy enough.
Put this into a Suzuki with a jatco CVT (Kizashi).Was previously whining up big hills and changing to reverse/drive etc took a little too long.No more whine after dumping and replacing with this penrite oil. Engages into drive and reverse faster too with less clunk. Been over 10,000kms since oil change and still going well.Recommend yearly oil changes with this once you get into the higher kms on these transmissions.
