I bought this CVT Fluid 2 months ago, and it works perfectly. I'm happy with that.
Brought this to service the CVT transmission in a little 2005 A-Class Mercedes. MB wanted $260 for the factory fluid this cost me $70 and it's brilliant. Smooth as gear changes and meets the factory MB specifications delivering much smoother shifts at less than half the cost of buying fluid from the dealer.
After alot of research this is this highest quality CVT fluid in leiu of the expensive nissan cvt fliud.Where NS 2 is required as a minimum. This was used in a 2012 nissan xtrail CVT with no problems. Penrite make the best gear, transmission and diff oils by far. They meet and exceed every specification. I use them all the time and they're Australian.
Bought this oil based on the store blokes advice and didn’t feel right.Looked up the valvoline web site and sure enough wrong oil for chain drive.Full refund and bloke pointed me to a competitor who had it.Good outcome in the end. Happy enough.
