Treat your gearbox to a flush and fill of progear, especially if its never been changed as fill for life is a marketing gimmick and any ATF will be spent after 50,000K.Positives:Reduces the typical T56 marbles.Reduces the shift clunk and makes shifts less notchy (important note below)Much better wear properties than any ATF based fluid. The oil is great. No complaints.The lid on the container is the problem.The lid of the container on the picture when I ordered it online, had a funnel type lid. But the actual container didn’t have the funnel lid. This made it a challenge to fill the oil into my gearbox.

Good oil for manual BT 50/ Ranger boxes. Some gears tightish on cold nights so it's NOT perfect like Red Line. 2.5 liters not enough for oil change, buying additional liter not viable..
Have found that shifting is a lot smoother especially in cold weather (5 degrees Celsius and below).I can highly recommended this oil especially if you're experiencing notchy shifting when driving first thing in the morning.

I was looking for a high quality Ester Base GL4 synthetic oil to use in a lathe gearbox and in the past had been using an imported oil with excellent results but due to Covid the imported oil is not as easy to obtain and is expensive so I researched the local products and came up with Penrite Pro Gear 70W-75 oil. I have used it and so far am impressed with the results. Do not be put off by the price as Ester based synthetics are not cheap but in my opinion are far superior in lubrication properties when compared with an ordinary "Synthetic Oil". I will continue using this product as it is readily available throughout the country.
You can't go past a great Aussie brand like Penrite; using Penrite Pro Gear Oil in my JK Jeeps Transfer Case, which has worked perfectly, giving my gears the ultimate lubrication they need when out playing in the dirt!
Great gearbox oil, solves my problem of sticky and hard gear shifting when cold. Oil had not been changed for a long time as previous owner neglected this, as so many people often do. change your tranny oil people!
I put this in my HSV GTS LS2 T-56 6 Speed and the difference in gearshifts is amazing. Smooth as butter. Used to be clunky typical Holden but Penrite have made a brilliant product and changing gears is fun and I am glad I bought a manual. If you have a T-56 gearbox run to this product. Takes 3.9 litres so 2 bottles at retail is over $100 but on special you get it for half that. I stock up every sale. Penrite is the best oil all round, engine, gearbox, diff
