The small profile and weight of the trimmer means that it easily fits into a toiletries bag. My other trimmer is much larger and takes up too much space when I am travelling.The USB charging is also very useful as I can charge the Phillips Series 1000 from my laptop! perfect for when on a train or plane.the head is on the small side which make it great for tidying up but do not expect it to cut a head of hair.I find the on switch a bit sticky, it could be a smoother movement but this is not something that makes the product difficult to use.

I am really impressed with this beard trimmer. The set up was simple and easy. The trimmer itself is small and lightweight and is ideal for travel. I was able to quickly choose a trimming length and there are a reasonable selection to choose from. The USB charging makes it super simple to keep the charge topped up on the device too.Some trimmers I have used in the past aren't very precise and you find yourself having to go back over areas with greater detail. This trimmer provides a great trim from the start and I have noticed the difference compared to previous models from other brands.It is east to take apart to clean and I envisage this lasting for a long time. This is definitely a model that I would recommend.
This product is excellent at what it does, and for a price that you cannot argue with.Its performance as a trimmer is unquestionable. It works perfectly and effortlessly, with absolutely no discomfort. It holds its charge very well and the usb charger is extremely convenient.It comes with a large variety of attachments. Though it would be easier to have a single attachment for all lengths changing the attachments is surprisingly quick and easy.I personally prefer wet and dry shavers as I like to rinse it off when I am finished, which is one of very few improvements I would suggest.Overall, this is more than enough of a trimmer to handle regular trimming and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for value for money
Having used the trimmer for a few months, I am generally happy. It is still as sharp as it was at the beginning, and the battery life is more than sufficient.The power switch and the height adjuster thing are both on the front, within reach of the thumb, making it nice and easy to change the settings without breaking your trimming stride.The USB charging cable is an unnecessary novelty to me, but i can see why it may be useful for travellers etc.Only negative, the height adjuster is a bit clunky, and makes the trimmer feel a bit cheap.In all, I am pleased with the product.
Great beard trimmer. I found this trimmed around the countours of the face really well.The different settings were great for styling down the face and the neck, and they were all easy to use.Nice looking product and the battery lasted for ages as well without needing to be replugged in.Overall, highly recommended as a basic product.Only negative is that it is not possible to fit all the pieces and the trimmer in the bag, so only thing to improve would be to make the bag a little bigger to allow you to take all the pieces away with you when travelling.
Why only 3 stars? Quality of shave compared to my old Phillips one beard trimmer! It has some massive plus points like usb charging and no expensive head that needs changing frequently. Unfortunately the thing that lets it down is the closeness and comfort of shave fall far short of what I expect from a beard trimmer. Excellent for travel and will probably end up being just for that!

This beard trimmer is very lightweight and comes with its own handy little pouch which makes it ideal for traveling or even if your short of space.The beard trimmer attachments are really handy to clip in and switch over however they can't all be stored away in the pouch provided which is a little disappointing.The USB lead is very clever as a lot of places now have USB sockets on the plug covers so you don't need to carry around a seperate bulky plug, plus you can charge it up anywhere.The actual trimming, even on its longest trimmer clip, cuts a little too short for my husbands liking. It would have taken his beard quite short and Close to the skin if he'd carried on using it
