I bought this to replace an existing old fashioned light in my garden. It is ultra modern and a simple design. It was easy to install for someone that is comfortable with electrical. Then you connect to it using the Hue app and the serial number and you are controlling it within seconds. The brightness is plenty for my garden. If you set the colour to cool white it really illuminated the garden. I find punks, purple and greens looks nice. Well worth the money as the bulb is integrated. But for the colour bulbs you by separately they are quite expensive by themselves. Would recommend.

With the exception of small screws, the light is excellent. Light, but sturdy. The light has worked seamlessly with the Hue app and the sensor.

At first glance it looks quite complicated trying to fit and link these low voltage wall lights. However, after the first one was up it was incredibly easy to do the others. They look amazing alongside my other Hue floodlights which are used to illuminate the decking with the hot tub. Connected so quickly to the hub and now displaying some beautiful colour combinations. Very very pleased with these and John Lewis's very prompt delivery service.

Bought this to add to our existing Hue lighting system. Sleek design that complements the other Hue lights we have. Love that we can add sensors to come on as we approach.
A little tricky to install (got an electrician as replacing old lights and wasn't sure about the wiring) but look very stylish on the wall and once turned on the options to change the lights in the garden is great. Already have Hue in the house, now will be buying more for the garden.
Elegant, stylish, easy to install and moat of all affordable! Once installed it is easy to set up on the app. When its all done you simply set it on a timer and there you have it! Not a regretted purchase!
First of all, I'm a fan of Hue anyways, this product doesn't disappoint, it looks great on the wall and love the fact I can change the colours. The only thing I found fiddly was screwing the outer casing back on, really tiny screws and with them being so close to the wall (top and bottom) and with the screwdrivers I had it wasn't magnetic so I kept dropping them, - my fault for not having the right tools I guess.
Installed by a professional (deliberately off centre 😀) but the inlet for the cables is off centre and towards the base so we positioned the light before feeding the cables through the wall. The Hue app is easy to navigate. The colour options are practically limitless and the each lights can be set to its own colour or you can sync them so the colour is identical. There is a useful location feature that turns the lights on when the app detects you have arrived home and this can be set to nighttime only. The intensity of the light is also good.
