I also found that just a single spray goes very far and can be used to cover a substantial amount of skin. However, the spray also results in oil landing on nearby surfaces. If you’re doing it on a smooth surface (tile, hardwood, etc.), it does make that flooring very slippery, so apply with caution. I think it’s a nice touch that feels summery yet is subtle enough that your skin doesn’t look “sparkly.” My skin did continue to feel oiled after application, like it never fully absorbed, but it didn’t feel overly oily, and I wasn’t worried about it transferring to clothes or other surfaces. It also has a fragrance that’s fairly strong. I’m not quite sure how to describe it, but it almost reminded me of scented bug spray wipes (to keep mosquitos away) that I used to use. As a result, it does bring back summery associations, but it also doesn’t feel like an elegant or indulgent scent. It’s not a bad fragrance. I just personally didn’t love it.

VERY disappointed, I fell for the on-air hype again. First off - the "shimmer" lasts only a moment and then it's gone. GONE. The glow it provides is minimal at best when first spraying on. I got Pure Grace, one of my (used to be) favorites, and it (sorry) stunk. I washed it off after a couple hours. I thought it would dry down to something good - NOT. Further, the other posts are correct. It dries out your skin horribly. You can SEE the dryness it causes. I confess I initially bought it for the summer healthy-looking sheen it could provide, but there is nothing redeeming about this product. I don't know what's going on with Philosophy and its' parent company, but it AIN'T good... Philosophy is known for its elegant scents and quality products and this one ranks up there with the best. First the good points besides smell, hydration this oil when applied and damp after the shower skin absorbs wonderfully. Even tried washing my arm after applying as a test and water sheds right off instead of soaking in allowing your bodies natural moisture to stay put. It took soap and water in the shower to completely remove the product. I would not advise applying on dry skin as it will not absorb as well at stay kind of greasy. The shimmer is beautiful and applies glow making you look fresh and glowing, however I did find the sparkle getting on darker apparel which o was not a fan of. I’m not usually a fan of body oils because they generally leave my skin looking and feeling greasy. The Philosophy Pure Grace Luminous Body Oil is an exception, though. When applied, it absorbs well and doesn’t leave your skin looking or feeling greasy. This oil behaves more like a lotion in my opinion. It has a nice light scent that isn’t overpowering. According to the Philosophy site, the Pure Grace scent has a top note of water lily, a heart of leafy greens, and a base of musk. I normally don’t care for musk, but in this scent it’s minute and leaves it smelling fresh and clean. The luminosity is small glitter pieces as opposed to just a shimmery liquid. If you don’t like glitter you may want to take that into account.
