Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash

This cleanser has completely changed the game for me! I love the way it gently exfoliates my skin without being harsh. I use it every day (just a small amount is all that’s needed) I gently massage the cleanse all over my skin for about 45-60 seconds, then I rinse off and pat dry with paper towel. I have an amazing base for my makeup and my skin texture is completely even. I was beginning to think that I just didn’t have the skin type for smooth flawless skin, little did I know I just hadn’t found this gem yet. My skin looks better than ever, and I’ll never leave this cleanser alone 😍

Worth a try! The scrub is a lot easier on the skin than other scrubs I’ve tried. Still, be cautious whenever using a scrub to not apply too much pressure and make sure you cover every area in even amounts of time and the same motion. You can easily get micro-tears in your skin and feel a bit raw after, even with this gentle scrub. The Made Simple Cleanser was first introduced to me when my mom suggested using hers to get a makeup stain out of a shirt. Which actually worked great! This is a great daily wash to go for since it’s not stripping and is very gentle. This worked well for my sensitive skin. I move across my skin in circular motions for 30 seconds. It really does feel like you’ve just given yourself a mini facial when you rinse off. My skin is more smooth, soft, and visibly brighter after using. Over time this has helped improve the texture of my skin and has made my complexion more even toned. Philosophy says you can use this daily but I would suggest, especially if you have sensitive skin, by starting out using for only 2 days a week and slowly work your way up. But this is a great gentle exfoliating cleanser. PROS: ✅ Gentle. I'm middle of the road with this duo. The micoderm scrub is a little too abrasive for my taste and the cleanser stripped my skin to the point where I became very oily. Of the two I think the cleanser is better, but after purchasing several bottles I think I've decided it's just not for me. Don't fall for the "toning cleanser" hype. This contains ingredients that will cause inflammation and dry skin, but then they put in things to soften it. It's just not that great. As far as the scrub is concerned it was so gritty that it left my skin inflamed. I realize this is a microderm scrub, but I would rather use something less damaging on my skin, and scrubs can cause microtears. So that one is NG. A friend with great

A friend with great skin recommended this product. I have oily skin with occasional breakouts. I’m also 40 and starting to see some signs of aging. This cleanser has worked great for me, doesn’t strip my face, but definitely cuts the oil. I have noticed that the texture of my skin is better and skin tone more even. I use it every morning and have not had any irritation. It’s definitely not been a miracle, I still get a pimple here and there, but overall my face has been so much better since I started using it. It smells great, like citrus. A little goes a long way, I bought an 8oz bottle in November and it’s still about 1/3 full.This product was reviewed on philosophy.com

Clean, Smooth, and Fresh

The micro delivery exfoliating face wash was a delightful experience for my face! I love the texture as the exfoliant material is much tinier than other products I have used and does its job without feeling abrasive. My skin felt clean and smooth. I used it before bed and my face was still clean and smooth in the morning. Another fine feature is the light fresh scent of this product. It is light citrusy scent; not at all overpowering. As usual, philosophy has delivered a new product that not only does not disappoint; but is a joy to use!

Years and years ago I started using the exfoliating facial wash and have never stopped using it. The best thing about this cleanser is that you can use it daily, which sometimes I use instead of my Purity Made Simple. The bottle I am using now is a newer formula in that the micro beads have less slip, thicker, which causes me to add water to my face and it is now clear instead of having a slight orange tint. I prefer the previous formulation, but I still hive it 5 stars because it still performs wonderfully buffing dead skin cells, that makes my skin softer. I always purchase the 32 oz. bottles and am glad you still carry it. Philosophy was my first high-end skin care that I've been using since I was in my 20's. Part of what fixed my acne

Have had acne since adolescence. Normal bacterial comedone acne switched over to some folliculitis style acne sometime in my late 20’s. Tried MANY products. Thought maybe it was fungal. After treating my face a couple times a week with anti fungal products and hydrocortisone, things got a little better in the last few years. Have always been good with weekly microdermabrasion scrubs or sulfur treatments too. But this product along with taking trace minerals, zinc, B12, D3 and other antioxidants has brought my skin back to looking 90%+ clear in about 3 months or less. I think everybody is different and cures are complex. Eating, sleeping and drinking right are all part of the cure. Skincare Routine Must!!!

I’ve experimented with nearly every skin care line out there but I always seem to come back to Philosophy. Their Microdelivery Facial Wash has been my one absolute must-have staple in my skincare routine since I first tried it many years ago. I’m 50 with a bevy of dermatological concerns/issues ranging from dryness to adult acne. I always start my routine with their one-step facial cleanser followed by this very fine exfoliating scrub that makes your skin feel completely clean, refreshed, smooth and fully prepped for more problem area-specific product/treatment applications. PLEASE, Philosophy - DON’T EVER stop making this product!!!

It's been the one product that traverses the years with me while the rest of my skincare keeps changing. I suffered from a lot of acne growing up to the point of Accutane.
